On January 19th 2018 it’s The Disco Derby at The Jam House in Edinburgh, Discovery Wrestling’s take on the Royal Rumble. 20 wrestlers compete in an over the top rope battle royal until two remain. The two remaining will compete in a singles match and the winner, by pinfal or submission, will be crowned the first winner of The Disco Derby and in line for a prize to be announced plus they will join the regular Discovery Wrestling roster.
So, here are my 20 picks for The Disco Derby. Few things before we get going, even though Alan from Disco has announced that they are scouting all over the country I have stuck with regular competitors in Scotland as it’s the area I know a bit more about. The match is also open to all wrestlers male or female so if you’re wanting to throw in suggestions then anyone that is trained to be a professional wrestler is eligiable.
