WrestleZone made their first 2015 stop at The Northern Hotel on Saturday March 21st as they hosted the 2015 Regal Rumble. With Brian Stephenson and Chris McDonald handling commentary duties once again, the road to Aberdeen Anarchy 2015 was officially underway!

Kiss My Foot Match
Mr P def. Lord Alan Sterling w/Jeeves Winchester & Mr Malice by Pinfall

Lord Alan Sterling made his way to ringside for the first match, flanked as always by Jeeves Winchester and Mr Malice. As Winchester and Malice were taking off his royal robe, Mr  emerged from the back, not waiting for his music to hit as he disposed of Jeeves and Malice. With P in control, Jeeves and Malice decided to intervene, prompting referee Mikey Innes to eject them from ringside. With P distracted however, it allowed Alan to clock him in the head with a shoe for a near fall. Alan remained in control, nailing his trademark backstabber for another two count. In the end, Mr P uses a schoolboy rollup to get the three count. As Mr P was preparing for Alan to kiss his foot, Mr Malice returned to ringside as a distraction, allowing Sterling to make an escape. P dragged Malice backstage in a bid to find Alan as we moved to the next match.

Aspen Faith w/KT Kane def. Bryan Tucker by Pinfall

In a previously unannounced match, Aspen Faith went one on one with one half of the then-Tag Team Champions, Bryan Tucker. Both men exchanged technical holds, before KT Kane choked Tucker on the ropes while the referee was distracted. Aspen performed a dropkick to the back of Tucker while he was on the ropes. Tucker managed to take hold later on with a jumping neckbreaker, before ascending to the top rope. The King of Catch avoided the dive, following up with a Knee Trembler for the win.

As Faith, Kane and Tucker headed back through the curtain, Lord Alan Sterling came stumbling through the crowd, followed by Mr P and Mr Malice. As P tried to get his hands on Alan, Malice again intervened and was dropped with an axe kick for his troubles. P chased after Alan through the back as the show went to a quick interval to remove a motionless Malice from the ring.

Jack Jester def. Cysto 2 w/Cysto 1

The next match, if you want to call it that, saw Jack Jester returning for the first time since losing his Undisputed Championship at Battle of the Nations the previous August as he went toe to toe with Cysto 2. Cysto had to be pushed through the curtain and into the ring by Cysto 1, and understandably so given what was waiting for him. Jester absolutely demolished Cysto. After taking the beating through the crowd, Jack spiked The Tangerine Dream into the mat with a tombstone for the three count. The former Undisputed Champion got into it with a fan after the match before leaving the ringside area.

Undisputed WrestleZone Championship
Joe Coffey def. Crusher Craib (c) by TKO

Up next was a battle between two powerhouses, as Crusher Craib put the Undisputed Championship on the line against “The Iron Man” Joe Coffey. These two tore into each other in and around the ring with several high impact moves, including The Creator of Carnage dropping Coffey with an impressive chokeslam. After referee Mikey Innes was taken down by an accidental Big Boot, management representative Chris McDonald left commentary to help him to the back. With the champion distracted, Damien entered through the crowd and delivered two superkicks to Craib before leaving again. As Coffey got back to his feet and saw Crusher laying on the mat, he called for a second official to come out but he only got a two count. After two lariats weren’t enough for Joe to win the title, he locked in his No Mercy submission that caused Crusher to pass out for the first time in his career. The new champion gloated on the mic afterwards as he cemented his place in the main event of Aberdeen Anarchy.

Grado & The Thunder Buddies (Blue Thunder & William Sterling) def. Johnny Lions & The Dogs of War (Chris Archer & Mikkey Vago) by Pinfall

Before the main event, we had a six man tag team match as Grado teamed with The Thunder Buddies to face “Tenacious” Johnny Lions and The Dogs of War. Grado used his usual shenanigans to get on the nerves of his opponents, before Chris Archer found himself trapped in a tree of woe. With everyone, including referee Dennis Law, crashing into The Outcast, it took him out for the remainder of the match. At the end, everyone got their signature moves in before Johnny Lions dropped William Sterling with a Lion Cutter. Before he could make the cover however, he was taken down by a Wee Boot to award the victory to Grado, Sterling and Blue Thunder.

Before the next match, Chris McDonald announced he would replace Mikey Innes who had been taken to hospital after being dismantled by a Crusher Craib big boot, as the second referee for the main event. Martyn Clunes went over the rules for the contest before entrants one and two made their way to the ring.

2015 Regal Rumble Match
Scotty Swift last eliminated Damien to win

Lord Alan Sterling and Cysto 1 kicked things off, with Alan making short work of the opposition. With his butler Jeeves Winchester coming in next, Alan was met by Mr P at number 4. P finally made Alan kiss his foot, before forcing Mr Malice to kiss the dirty foot of Alan. The ring started filling up, with Damien being chased through the crowd by Crusher Craib, who was fuming after having his Undisputed Championship ripped away from him earlier in the night. After Grado eliminated Aspen Faith, The King of Catch proceeded to attack Len Ironside and steal his British Empire and Commonwealth Middleweight Championship, preventing the British wrestling legend from officially entering the match. Jack Jester entered at number 16 and immediately dumped out William Sterling, Chris Archer and Grado in one go. He was clotheslined out not long after by perennial underdog Bryan Tucker to the delight of everyone in attendance. Jester dragged Tucker out the ring and sent him head-first into the ring post, leaving the dead weight for Johnny Lions to eliminate. After Lions Shawn Johnson were tossed out, Scotty Swift pulled down the top rope to eliminate Andy Wild after a tough fight with the Englishman but the referees didn’t call for the bell. Damien came through the curtain having never been eliminated and almost had the match one as he surprised The Red Haired Warrior from behind, but Swift battled back and eventually knocked The Revolutionary down to the floor to be declared the winner of the 2015 Regal Rumble Match. A staredown between Swift and new Undisputed Champion Joe Coffey brought an end to the show.
