In case you haven’t noticed, it’s Aberdeen Anarchy X in two weeks time, and we here at SWN are rather excited about it. The annual Beach Ballroom show is always an eventful night on the calendar, leaving behind it a whole host of unforgettable moments and matches.
Heading in to this year’s edition, I’ve got a few theories in mind for what may end up happening. So sit back, relax, and take a look at some of the things I think may happen on September 1st!
Lee McAllister Punches Richard R. Russell

When Lee McAllister was announced as the enforcer for the main event, it was all but confirmed that someone was getting punched out. After all, Lee is a professional boxer, recently capturing the WBU Heavyweight Championship (read more on that from WrestleZone’s friends at the Evening Express here). Considering the main event will be inside a steel cage, it seems unlikely that it’d be Damien or Shawn Johnson getting the punch so how about Richard R. Russell? Whether or not Sterling Oil are forced to disband earlier in the night, Russell will likely still try to help Shawn retain the gold. Triple R getting knocked out would certainly send the fans home happy!
Bryan Tucker Joins Sterling Oil

For those that may remember, I wrote a hot take ahead of Battle of the Nations, believing that Bryan Tucker was going to join Sterling Oil. Obviously, it never happened however I’m still predicting it to occur at some point and what better stage to do it on than Aberdeen Anarchy? Granted, the whole rejoining Shawn Johnson situation perhaps wouldn’t make sense but if Dean Ambrose can continue helping out Seth Rollins, then I’m sure Tucker and Johnson can get along again.
Bradley Evans Costs Mr P The Tri-Counties Championship

At WrestleZone’s debut in Turriff last month, Mr P brought in Bradley Evans as his new manager/partner and judging by what I’ve read from the show in Inverurie this past weekend, their alliance appears to have been more than a one night thing. If they were going for the Tag Team Championships then by all means, be the best of friends but considering Mr P is looking to win his taste of singles gold, it leads me to believe Bradley may end up turning on him. The last time Evans supported someone winning singles gold was Zach Dynamite and look how that turned out for him.
As a side prediction (which only really comes after Billy mentioning it), have Bradley join Jason Reed’s cabinet aswell.
Anastasia Helps Sammii Jayne Defeat Viper

It’s been put out in the open many times that Sammii Jayne was the main trainer of Anastasia, which can be shown through Anastasia’s use of stiff strikes. The pair recently aligned for the first time when Anastasia replaced Sammii in a match against Little Miss Roxxy at Three Count Wrestling’s Midsummer Showdown event this past Sunday. With The Queen of WrestleZone set for an in-ring return at Aberdeen Anarchy against Viper, having Anastasia assist her in a victory would make for an interesting dynamic to the story between the two opponents. All going to plan, a tag team match could be made for the future with Viper teaming with someone like Nova Moore.
Jason Reed Gets Added To The Tri-Counties Championship Match

Last but not least is a match change. According to Jason Reed’s Facebook page, he will indeed be appearing at Aberdeen Anarchy as he continues his quest to Make WrestleZone Great Again. He doesn’t have a match currently signed and I don’t really see him being on the pre-show so unless he’s just there in a non-wrestling role, I’d insert him in to the Tri-Counties Championship match. After all, he does technically have a claim to be in the match. He was part of that #1 Contenders Match at Battle of the Nations that was interrupted by Nathan North and even though he was never attacked by North, Reed had a championship opportunity taken from him. People usually want revenge for things like that in the wrestling world.
So there are my predictions for just some of the things I can see happening at Aberdeen Anarchy X. What do you want/expect to happen come September 1st?
