WrestleZone posted a video to their Facebook page yesterday evening, with Alan Sterling on the hunt for a new bodyguard following his recent loss to Cysto of all people. Following the breakup of Sterling Oil at Aberdeen Anarchy X, we’ve only seen Alan and Crusher Craib thus far, with Crusher continuing to make Scotty Swift’s life a living hell. Richard R. Russell has been slightly active on Twitter as he shows his support for Jason Reed’s campaign, while William Sterling hasn’t been seen or heard from at all.
Back to Alan though – who would fill this role of being his bodyguard? Well, let’s take a look!

Kaden Garrick
Since returning at this year’s Regal Rumble, what has Kaden Garrick been able to accomplish? He’s been unsuccessful in every match (bar a quick victory over Lord Michael of Graham at Proving Grounds), and hasn’t been moving up the ranks at all. As Alan Sterling’s bodyguard, just think of the devastation the duo could inflict on the WrestleZone roster. Between Alan’s DDT and Kaden’s spear, no-one would be able to take them down.

Alan Taylor
This beast of a trainee is called Alan Taylor. WrestleZone fans may recognise him as security from shows, and also as one of the guys who dragged The Sterling Brothers away at Battle of the Nations. He’s on here for two reasons; he’s yet to appear on a main roster show so it would be the perfect way to introduce him, plus Alan seemingly found a ‘big guy’ while hunting at the training academy. Mr Taylor certainly fits that bill. The thought of him tossing someone like Cysto around the ring just sounds lovely.

Mr Malice
Ahh yes, Mr Malice. The last we saw of him was when he accompanied Lord Michael of Graham to the ring at the Regal Rumble, but he did make a brief appearance in the video. Malice and Alan have plenty of history together, from their days in the original incarnation of Sterling Oil to when Alan was a Lord. It’d be better in my opinion to give it a newer face, but I wouldn’t say no to a Mr Malice comeback!

Ryan Riley
One of the most recent WrestleZone Training Academy graduates and someone that caught my eye during the Aberdeen Anarchy pre-show Battle Royal, Ryan Riley. He’s got bags of charisma and isn’t afraid to show off from what I’ve seen so far, so he probably wouldn’t be best suited as someone else’s bodyguard. However, it’s a way to get the fans used to seeing his face. The least likely option out of these four I’d say, but still.
