WWE have been airing debut vignettes for Lars Sullivan for weeks now but on last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, it was revealed that he wasn’t the only NXT name coming to the main roster. In amongst the callups is Scotland’s own Nikki Cross.

Cross joined WWE in April 2016, making her television debut the following August as Nicola Glencross where she teamed with Carmella and Liv Morgan in a winning effort against Alexa Bliss, Mandy Ross, and Sonya Deville. Just two months after this, she joined the new SAnitY faction alongside Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe and fellow ICW alum Killian Dain. It’s at this point where she started developing her crazed persona that we’ve come to love today.

During her time in NXT, Nikki had some lovely contests against the likes of Asuka and Shayna Baszler, challenging for the NXT Women’s Championship on several occasions but never quite reaching the top of the division. Perhaps her most remembered match in developmental was the sensational Last Woman Standing Match against Asuka in June 2017. In terms of stories, she was recently involved in the ‘Who Attacked Aleister Black’ angle, which is quite possibly one of NXT’s greatest moments of the year. Cross’ involvement just made it all that better.

It’s unknown at this time whether Nikki Cross will be joining the Raw or Smackdown Live rosters, but the best bet would be to say she’ll be joining the blue brand. After all, that’s where her SAnitY allies have lay dormant ever since joining the main roster, plus Cross had a one-off appearance against Becky Lynch on the brand last month. Wherever she ends up, expect to see her in the 2019 women’s Royal Rumble Match.

As well as Cross and Sullivan, EC3, Lacey Evans, and Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight) will also be making the jump.
