Last night it was announced that Joe Hendry has signed with Ring of Honor Wrestling.
The Edinburgh native posted a video on his Twitter account (@JoeHendry) announcing that he was a free agent no more.
Hendry is no stranger to television having made appearances for Impact Wrestling, ITV’s World of Sport Wrestling, 5 Star Wrestling and a brief cameo in World Wrestling Entertainment. Along with competing in the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
This won’t be Joe Hendry’s first visit to Ring of Honor, appearing during their 2018 Re-United Tour facing the likes of Hangman Page, Christopher Daniels and an unsuccessful attempt to dethrone the ROH Television Champion Silas Young.
A former ICW Tag Team, PWE Heavyweight, and WCPW Champion, Hendry recently announced that he will be opening the Joe Hendry Pro Wrestling Academy in Edinburgh.
We here at Scottish Wrestling Network wish The Prestigious One the best of luck in his endeavour.
