On Monday Night RAW this week, Nikki Cross won her first championship in WWE when Alexa Bliss pinned Kairi Sane to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Cross, formerly Nikki Storm, signed with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2016 before heading to the NXT brand soon forming an alliance with Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton (later replaced by Killian Dain).

After spending much of 2017 and 2018 chasing the NXT Women’s Championship, Cross made a surprise appearance on Smackdown in late 2018 to take on Becky Lynch before officially joining the RAW brand in January 2019.

Cross formed an alliance with Alexa Bliss in May, assisting Bliss in her attempts to become Women’s Champion again.

Cross & Bliss defeated, the champions, The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce), Fire & Desire (Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose) and The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka) in a four way elimination match to mark their first WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship reign.
