At Battle of the Nations, WrestleZone announced that the 2020 Aberdeen Anarchy will be a weekender for the first time ever. Returning to The Northern Hotel for the first Aberdeen Anarchy there since 2012, there will be some May Madness coming to The Granite City.

So with no clues, no idea and no clear train of thought, here are five wrestlers that might appear on either May 15th or 16th 2020.

Jay Lethal

Former WrestleZone Tag Team Champion Jay Lethal, has made several appearances in the past in WrestleZone taking part of Battle of the Nations and The Regal Rumble but never Aberdeen Anarchy. Lethal is at the top of his game in Ring of Honor right now but a jaunt to The Granite City one more time would be fantastic with plenty of worthy challengers like Zach Dynamite or Jason Reed for example.

Paul London

Former WWE Cruiserweight and Tag Team Champion Paul London is a semi-regular visitor down in the borders at Target Wrestling with the odd trip to Insane Championship Wrestling where he won the ICW Tag Team Championships with Brian Kendrick. The high-flying intrepid traveler would make for a brilliant opponent for someone like a Bingo Ballance for the North East supershow.

D’Lo Brown

In my opinion, one of the greatest WWF European Champions in history. An absolutely underrated wrestler from the Attitude Era and one of my personal favourites. I can see it now, D’Lo Brown versus Grado, The Low Down versus The Low Lander… okay maybe it needs something catchier but D’Lo Brown would be a cool guest.

Shawn Spears

With last years get of PAC it would make sense that WrestleZone might be able to nab another recently released WWE wrestler in the former ‘Perfect 10’ Tye Dillinger, now Shawn Spears in All Elite Wrestling. Depending on their contracts it’s not totally outside the realm of possibility.

Gangrel

The Brood theme and a match against Krieger. I’m a man of simple tastes.

So that’s five names that probably won’t appear at Aberdeen Anarchy but hey, I got it right last year with PAC so you never know…
