As seen on last night’s episode of WWE NXT, the fourth and final member of Shayna Baszler’s team for the first ever women’s War Games Match was revealed to be none other than the reigning NXT UK Women’s Champion, Kay Lee Ray. The Queen of Insanity now joins forces with Baszler, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai to battle Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, and Mia Yim.
KLR showed her allegiance to The Submission Magician by assisting Shirai in defeating Yim in a Ladder Match in the evening’s main event, which now means Team Baszler have the numbers advantage come November 23rd. Her involvement in the bout marked Kay Lee’s second appearance on NXT, following on from an October 2015 appearance in losing fashion to Nia Jax.
Having been victorious in the 2018 Queen of Insanity in Insane Championship Wrestling and also competing in various weapon-based matches throughout her career, Kay Lee Ray should have no problems holding her own inside the steel structure.
