Well, it’s once again a sad occasion here on Scottish Wrestling Network as we wave farewell to another retiring Scottish wrestler. This time, we say goodbye to the in-ring career “Tenacious” Johnny Lions, a man I have had the privilege of watching live since 2015. The Tenacious One was a synonymous name in the north-east due to his involvement, both in front of the crowd and behind the scenes, with WrestleZone. There, he enjoyed reigns as both the Undisputed and Tag Team Champion, headlined the first Beach Ballroom show as the defending Undisputed Champion, and achieved two of his goals – compete inside a steel cage (which he did twice) and convince Scotty Swift that they were indeed an actual tag team as opposed to two guys who just happened to be teaming together. He’s had one hell of a career, but now, it’s no longer Johnny Time, after we look back at his career that is.
