Earlier today WrestleZone announced that Scotty Swift will be invoking his rematch clause over the WrestleZone Tag Team Championships at Summerhill Showdown against new champions William Sterling and Blue Thunder. As his tag team partner Johnny Lions retired following the loss at Christmas Chaos, Swift will have to find himself a new tag team partner that will be revealed later tonight.

So time is of the essence in this guessing game of WHO will be Scotty Swift’s tag team partner. I have some thoughts.

Connor Inglis

After the, what seems to be, conclusion of his war with Crusher Craib it might be time for Inglis to start looking at championship gold. It wouldn’t be the first time Swift has taken a youngster from the WrestleZone Training Academy under his wing much like Zach Dynamite in 2013 following Swift vacating the WrestleZone Tag Team Championships as his partner at the time Jay Lethal could not be confirmed for championship defences. This, on the surface, looks like the most logical choice for Scotty Swift.

Mr. P

One of the most charismatic wrestlers on the WrestleZone roster, Mr. P and Scotty Swift have always been on the same side of the coin and that’s for entertaining the fans that attend WrestleZone shows. He’s been a bit quiet recently has our Mr. P so a Mega-Maniacs alliance could be a force to be reckoned with in WrestleZone.

Caleb Valhalla

Hear me out here, I know that I find any chance to include this beast into any list but I have a theory. Alan Sterling, the new WrestleZone Tri-Counties Champion, seems to be finding excuses to “reward” Valhalla by giving him the night off. Maybe Valhalla answers the call, giving him a chance at championship gold. We know that he was initially scheduled to be in the fatal four way until Captain Alan booked him on an excursion to save the kids of Africa (that looked suspiciously like Germany…), Sterling took his place and left with the title around his waist.

Umar Mohammed

A left field choice on the surface but there’s grounds for this pick. Johnny Lions is currently a trainer at Fife Pro Wrestling Asylum and one of his trainees has made a visit to WrestleZone in the recent past, ‘The Asian Sensation’ Umar Mohammed. Again going back to Swift taking younger wrestlers under his wing this would be an odd pairing perhaps but definitely an entertaining duo.

Cysto

Just to annoy Adam really.
