“‘Twas a night at the wrestling and the last show was due, the ring was all packed up and sent straight to the venue.
The wrestlers all dashed to Truth Nightclub with glee, to see what the Coaches had left under the tree.
Our MC Simon Cassidy was all rearing to go “This match is scheduled for One Fall! Now on with the show.”
The UEWA title was polished, all shiny and gold, it goes on the line against Leven’s own Frank Gallo ….
In Coach Roberts speech, he shouted full of delight, “Merry Christmas to all and let’s have a good fight!”
It’s that time of the year again and FPWA returns to Truth in Leven for their second Christmas show. BUT, FPWA has rebranded and is now under the name of PWR PRO – Pro Wrestling Ready and there are some new faces and some brilliant matches taking place that night. There is also the Student Showcase the night before where some of the latest PWR students making their debuts.
Let’s take a look at the show card.

The Par (Robert Balfour & Ross Hunter) vs MEAT FACTORY (Craig Berry & John Kerr)
Christmas has come early for these two tag teams especially Meat Factory (John Kerr and Craig Berry) who get their Christmas wish to take on The Par (Robert Balfour and Ross Hunter) in one on one tag team action.
At Truth or Dare, Meat Factory’s match ended in a DQ thanks to the interference of The Par or as they were formally known as The Woke Academy, who were quite rightly upset at not being included at the last show and took it upon themselves to make a statement under the guidance and influence of their manager, the mysterious and clever Mister Manoval and The Par blindsided the Meat Factory after their match.
This is a totally different version of The Par closing 2023 and kicking off 2024 and tag teams should take notice and they have a brand-new attitude and a brand-new manager. I can’t wait to see where this goes going forward. I would love to see the Meat Factory more as well in other promotions. Both teams are great to watch and are so entertaining.
Have The Par bitten off more than they can chew with the Meat Factory and end up eating soggy Brussel sprouts for their Christmas dinner or will The Par and Mister Manoval be the ones making Christmas pigs in blankets and feasting on the remains of the Meat Factory?

Leven Street Fight – Tommy Kartel vs Hunter Samson
Expect some Christmas Carnage – Leven style as Hunter Sampson takes on the former and first Hardest Man in Fife Tommy Kartel in a Leven Street Fight!
At the FPWA Student Showcase back in July of this year , Hunter won his right to compete in a qualifying match, defeating the like of Brent Carter, Craig Berry, Duke Cannon, El Methilero, James Smith, Ross Hunter, Sebastian Asher, Spike Tierney, Tom Atlas and Ty Butler.
Now Hunter Sampson was originally the right-hand man and shall we say a bodyguard of Tommy Kartel and they had a working relationship until FPWA Truth or Dare, after Tommy lost the title to Daisy Jenkins and Tommy Kartel attacked Hunter after the match – BIG MISTAKE and Hunter is after retribution and blood in a Leven Street Fight – no DQ, no holds barred! The only way to win is by KO or submission.

Fatal Fifeway – Daisy Jenkins (c) vs Ashley Vega vs Kate Calloway vs Emersyn Jayne vs ???
At FPWA Truth or Dare, Daisy Jenkins made history when she became the “Hardest Person in Fife.” Defeating the champion at that time, Tommy Kartel, Duke Cannon, Hunter Sampson and Tallon Jr. This will be Daisy’s first title defence as the “Hardest Person in Fife.”
Daisy has issued an open challenge to ANY female in Scotland. But who will she face? The woman’s wrestling division is on fire right now, especially in the UK and there is a load and I mean a load of woman who could step up.
Keeping in mind, the FPWA Student Showcase is the night before, so who knows, maybe even someone who debuted at the Showcase could be making their debut in the Fatal Fifeway.
#1 Ashley Vega – Ashley and Daisy have loads of wrestling history and have faced each other at various promotions and against each other at FPWA in the past. Ashley is the first woman to throw her name into the gauntlet, but can she walk out as the Hardest Person in Fife and take on the other four woman in the match?
#2 Cate Calloway – making her PWR Pro Wrestling debut is one of the new faces to come out of the doors of PWR. Having been visited by the Ghosts of Wrestling’s Past, Present and Future, Cate has her eyes on the prize to become the Hardest Person in Fife.
Imagine if Cate manages to become the Hardest Person in Fife on her debut?!
#3 Emersyn Jayne – Daisy wanted the hardest females to answer her challenge and they don’t come any harder or tougher right now than Emersyn Jayne who is making her PWR Pro debut. Emersyn Jayne is without a doubt one of the hottest and best female wrestling talents in the world right now to date and fingers crossed that one day a major promotion signs the “Main Event Empress.” And Emseryn is called that for a good reason.
With an impressive wrestling CV and titles behind her, Emersyn has recently made an IMPACT debut against the Knockouts World Champion Trinity in Glasgow where she was so close to taking that title and is also a multiple champion and a hardcore deathmatch wrestler. Could Emersyn add “Hardest Person in Fife” to her ever growing list of accomplishments and achievements?
#4 – I’m guessing this is going to be kept a mystery until the night. I have a list of who could potentially enter, Rubi Roberts, Iron Girders King of the Fling Moxie Malone or Ellie Armstrong, Hera, maybe even Nicole Jasmin or maybe even Fife’s own Molly Spartan?

Triple Threat – Umar Mohammed vs Johnny Lions vs Zachary Swift
Now this is a very special match and one you’d be an idiot not to miss as professional wrestling says goodbye to veteran Johnny Lions in ring wrestling career.
Johnny Lions is a much respected and well-loved veteran in this business for nearly 20 years and has been wrestling since 2005 and has held over the years at least 10 titles. He is stepping back from in ring action to focus solely on coaching the Wee Wrestlers/Juniors.
PWR has allowed Johnny to handpick his opponents and he has chosen “The Asian Sensation” Umar Mohammed or as he’d like to be known “TV’s Umar Mohammed.” And “The Gentleman” Zachary Swift. Muhammad was one of Johnny’s first students to break through onto the scene and I remember the very first time we met in training at another promotion and coach Stu was our trainer – since then Umar has accomplished a lot making a name for himself at various promotions up and down the UK. Swift was selected as Johnny sees a bright future in this young star. From what I’ve seen, Zachary Swift is one hell of a talent and there is something about him that oozes superstar potential and I can see a lot of talent and titles in his future.
Umar had a lot to regarding his match – with everyone making their Christmas promos, Umar Mohammed doesn’t do Christmas, Umar Mohammed doesn’t do remakes, Umar Mohammed makes originals and wants to put tissues at the end of the aisles because when it comes to that ending, their won’t be a dry eye in the nightclub. Umar goes on to say that he loves Coach Stu like a brother and he respects every single thing that Johnny Lions has done for him, but what he didn’t respect was why Johnny included Zachary Swift in the match.
“The Gentleman” Zachary Swift however thinks that Johnny has lost his bite a long time ago, and the crowd didn’t roar like they used to and that Johnny is no longer a lion, but a turkey voting for Christmas and promises that his last match will be painful and it will be Swift. Turning his attention to his opponent, Swift goes on to say that he understands Mohammed’s inclusion in the match that reeks of nepotism but he gets it – Johnny is the heart and soul of FPWA and Mohammed, was a shining star, his legacy and that just as he’s out of the door, he walked back in from Aberdeen with his tail between his legs, ready to take his place. Swift warns him to take a look around because Fife is no longer blue, Fife is black and yellow, and that there is no seat at their table!
This Christmas, Swift wants to give him the greatest gift of all – the future, as he destroys and obliterates the remaining fragments of FPWA and ushers in the era of PWR PRO with Zachary Swift in the vanguard.

UEWA European Heavyweight Championship – Andy Roberts (c) vs Frank Gallo
Andy Roberts has been the UEWA European Heavyweight Champion for 4 years and 1,599 days and on Wednesday the 6th of December will be Andy Roberts 1,600 day as UEWA champion!
With 17 titles defences, having won the vacant championship in 2019 which was has been held by both Adrian “Lionheart” MacCallum and the “Politicking Timebomb” Alexander Dean (both who are sadly no longer with us). So, the championship tile holds a very special place in Andy Robert’s heart and carries a great legacy behind it. This will be Coach Robert’s 18th title defence.
Roberts latest defence was Rampage Brown at FPWA Truth or Dare. This time, he will be facing FPWA graduate and home town Leven born Frank Gallo – who was chosen by a public vote to those who attended Truth or Dare. This will also be the first time that Andy has faced one of his students for the title in Leven.
Frank is a brilliant talent, and he gets a lot of love and support whenever FPWA runs a show and shouldn’t be underestimated. Recently on tour with Megaslam Wrestling, Gallo has defeated Andy Roberts TWICE – once in Wales and in Northampton the following night. So could it be third time lucky on Thursday night?
I genuinely don’t know who is gonna win this. Andy is Frank’s coach, so he had a hand in teaching him everything he knows.
Imagine if this was the ultimate Christmas present under Frank’s tree, not only to win his first championship title in his home town, but to win it in his hometown and end the year off 2023 as the UEWA Champion heading into 2024 or will Andy Roberts see in 2024 as the champion and continue into a 5 year reign? Only one way to find out…
