2. Lost Boy Aspen
In number two is Lost Boy Aspen, starting the judging period by finally winning the Undisputed WrestleZone Championship in a triple threat cage match, pinning the then-champion Zach Dynamite in the middle of the ring, defending the championship against Ryan Riley, Caleb Valhalla, Mikkey Vago throughout the year, and being undefeated in the North East with a 9-0 record.
Aspen came into the period still the Reckless Intent UK Champion, successfully defending the title on Discovery Wrestling events against Alastor Kharon, and Bruiser Brad Evans at separate shows. Discovery Wrestling also saw Aspen team with Caleb Valhalla (later dubbed SKOL BROL), and Johnny Lions to save Scottish wrestling against The Foundation From The Future.
Though still Reckless Intent UK Champion, he was unsuccessful in his bid to win the RI Heavyweight Championship in February in what would be the promotions final event before taking an extended hiatus.
As voted by the SWN readers, Aspen was in involved in four Match of the Month winners in three separate promotions, WrestleZone, Discovery Wrestling, and Community Pro Wrestling. Along with being voted Wrestler of the Month for December 2022.
Outwith our featured promotions, Aspen also made it to the semi final of the TNT DOA Death Match Tournament before being eliminated by Cole Radrick.
