DARO

Daro kicked off the period in style with a win over Legends Never Die in tag team action at Attitude Pro Wrestling‘s ‘Ruggy Rumble’ event. Despite being unsuccessful in becoming the inaugural champions, Termination Z defeated The Pack at ‘The Great Cambuslang Bash’ to win the APW Tag Team Championships. Thatcher Wright and Nick Justice managed to get the gold later on in the year before Daro and Big Ross Hauser regained the titles at ‘Ruggy Series’ in August.

At Community Pro Wrestling, became the first CPW Tag Team Champions, defeating Casino Brutale, The Pack, and The Govan Team in a ladder match to become inaugural holders. They had a tear of successful title defences against The Pack, The Vicious Lads, Nathan Black & Will Kroos, The Bais, SKOL BROL, and The Handsome Man’s Club before Casino Brutale handed them defeated at ‘Govan Rumbo 2’.

A lot of Daro’s time in CPW has been his back and forth trading of the CPW Jay Bee Dub Hardcore Championship with Mr Wanderer, but in other singles action he faced Leon Slater in the CPW Cruiserweight Championship Tournament semis but was unable to advance further.

Elsewhere, Daro made his SOVPRO debut in July as part of the Purge Match to crown the first SOVPRO Hardcore Champion though ultimately unsuccessful.

  • Qualifying. Wrestlers must have had at least 6 matches across our Featured Promotions during the judging period. This has been updated so that qualifying wrestlers have wrestled at least every other month during the judging period.
  • We will follow a criterion that includes win–loss record, championships won, championships retained, number of Featured Promotions worked for, and Match/Tag Team/Wrestler of the Month results.
  • Judging period. December 1st 2023 – November 30th 2024.
  • Information has been gathered from results obtained during the judging period.
