It’s a dirty dozen, episode 12 of This Is VALOR has dropped so it’s that time again to take a look. Matches were filmed from a joint promoted event with World Wide Wrestling League in Carluke.

Sami Sparx defeated Jay The Jackal by pinfall.

Jackal tried to make a beeline at Sparx after being subjected to a baldy chant but he was soon bamboozled by the quickness of The Chaotic Luchador. A roll through basement kick to the head sent Jackal to the outside for some respite.

A kick to the gut was stopped by The Jackal, with a missed enziguri putting the control into his camp. He dropped a couple fists to the head of Sparx, before cutting off a comeback by planting Sami with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.

Sami rallied back, getting that enziguri to spike his momentum meter, a big splash into the corner had Jackal reeling to walk into a springboard cutter and a frog splash sealed the deal for Sami Sparx.

It was a quick opener, hitting all the right notes in the time given. The in-ring was solid, and the crowd were happy to throw their support behind Sami Sparx and were audibly satisfied by the winner. Good stuff.

Before the next match could begin, Kavero stormed out to insert himself to the bout.

Three Way Dance – Kavero defeated Sebastian Day, and Rhoderick Jones.

Despite coming in with head of steam, the numbers quickly caught up with Kavero to put this match back to the scheduled one on one contest. Day kicked the spine of Jones, following up with a hard chop. Rhoderick fought back to gore Sebastian into the corner, following up with a neckbreaker, but just as he had his target acquired, Kavero returned to hoist Jones up for an F-5 for the first elimination.

Sebastian Day went straight after Kavero, but found himself held up for a delayed vertical suplex before crashing to the canvas. Kavero continued the pressure, snapping the fingers for Day. Day wasn’t to go down easy, knocking down Kavero long enough to scale the turnbuckle only to be thrown off with a belly to belly suplex that could only get a two count for Kavero.

After some jostling, Kavero managed to get Sebastian onto his shoulders and land that F-5 to get his second elimination and the win for The New Age Kliq.

Another solid match, there were some slip ups and noticeable hesitations but it didn’t kill the match. Kavero looked like a killer with the F-5’s looking great.

Hugo Harris defeated Buffa Aayooo by pinfall.

A more subdued Buffa arrived, jumping Hugo Harris as he attempted to hype up the crowd on the turnbuckle. Buffa tried to batter Harris around but Hugo managed to hit a dropkick to send Buffa to the outside.

The match continued at ringside, Buffa smashed his hand against the ring post while attempting to chop Harris. Hugo took advantage, slamming Buffa’s hand against the apron as the brawl went backstage.

Buffa tried to lock Harris into a toilet cubicle as the match eventually returned to the ring with Hugo launching himself with a top rope crossbody for a two count. Buffa poked Hugo in the eye to regain the upper hand while brushing off referee Sean Moran.

Harris managed to break the combo with a spinebuster but it didn’t deter Buffa from pie facing and bullying Hugo about. A Sling Blade from Harris couldn’t do the job as Buffa rolled Harris up but Moran noticed the ropes being used for extra leverage.

A frustrated Buffa confronted Sean Moran but turned around into a superkick from Hugo Harris to keep Buffa down for three. As the dust cleared Buffa gave Moran a straight right hand which brought out Lou King Sharp, as a representative of UEWA, to put him in a match with Sean Moran. If he lost then he would be kicked out of Europe.

If Moran Wins, Buffa Is Suspended – Special Referee: Lou King Sharp – Sean Moran defeated Buffa Aayooo by pinfall.

Buffa started hot out of the gate with a twisting single leg dropkick to Moran but Sean brought the fight straight to his opponent as they went at it around the hall throwing punches at each other.

The battle went up the turnbuckle, Moran managed to knock Buffa off the second rope and with a roll up Buffa’s time in Europe was over for the time being. Sharp made the declaration that Buffa was suspended.

A pay off to previous episodes with the Buffa-Moran situation, while this was also a nice self contained episode of This Is VALOR. The main event and subsequent bonus match portion were decent, making you ramp up that disdain for Buffa before finally seeing his comeuppance was a satisfying thing to witness.

This was a fine episode, nothing too wild and crazy but the explosiveness of Kavero, coupled with good, albeit quick, matches made for an easy watch.
