Bleeding Gums Wrestling has announced that they have ceased operations effective immediately.
Andrew Crammond announced the following on social media:
As of today Bgw is no longer operating.
All Future events are cancelled.
All tickets purchased for events in September and November will be refunded in due course.
Im sorry for disappointing people who were looking forward to the shows and to everyone who has helped me the past two years.
Due to an incredibly serious personal situation that has happened in the last 48 hours I can no longer operate the company and cause more damage to it, myself or anyone involved with bgw.
I will be having someone else deal with the website until the refunds are sorted out
Thanks for anyone who supported bgw in anyway over the last two years.
The last show will be posted up on iwtv.
I’ll always love Deathmatch Wrestling but I cant be around it or shows anymore for the sake of my health and my family.
Again sorry for all this, its been one of the most difficult things iv had to do in my life writing this out.
Andrew.
Bleeding Gums Wrestling hosted their first event, The Ultraviolence Referendum, on November 18th 2023 at The Dissection Room in Edinburgh. From there Andrew brought some of the very best in deathmatch wrestling to Scotland from all over the world including Necro Butcher, Mickie Knuckles, Matt Tremont, and Iceman bringing fans all over the country to Perth, Dundee, and Kirkcaldy with an alternative brand of professional wrestling entertainment.
The company also provided a platform for Scottish crowds to be introduced to UK deathmatch stalwarts like Alton Thorne, Jack Bennett, Danny Darko, Michael Caden, and Big F’N Joe while giving opportunities for those to start their deathmatch journey like Tim Strange and Bruiser Brad Evans.
A company that made headlines on the Wrestling Observer, amassed millions of views on social media, and opened wrestling fans eyes to deathmatch wrestling in Scotland. We have had the pleasure to record numerous chats with Andrew over the last two years on the SWN Podcast.
At this time we wish Andrew all the best.
