The biggest night on Insane Championship Wrestling’s calendar, the culmination of 12 months of insanity concludes while new chapters are written and some are closed with The Garage packed to see it all unfold.
Let’s take a look at some of the talking points coming out of Sunday night.
The Square Go! Line Up Begins
For those in attendance the night began on the VIP pre-show. Tommy Lockhart outlasted Leon Graves, Ahmed Hamdeh, and Umar Mohammed, to seal his spot for the 14th annual Square Go! match.
Nick Justice used some less than legal tactics by grabbing the ropes to leverage his pin over Michael Mailer, who shined in front of the ICW audience but unfortunately couldn’t leave with the victory.
That’s the first two names confirmed for the over the top rope chaos in February. 28 remain to be confirmed for the most star-studded match of the year in Scottish professional wrestling.
Oh Riley?
After seeing his brother Joe Coffey defeat Craig Anthony in the opening contest, Mark Coffey unfortunately came up short against Colton Davis and KOE, looking up at the lights while the three count was made thanks, in large part, to one man, Landon Riley.
As Riley and Ben Rodgers looked to have a bit of a miscommunication, Mark tried to rally the troops to get the pair to refocus. Riley didn’t take it well, super kicking Coffey then striking Rodgers with a low blow and open hand slap to dissolve the budding partnership and leaving his tag team partners to be picked apart by Davis and KOE.
Being nice has gotten Landon Riley so far, a new attitude and a new outlook, 2026 could be an unmissable year for the former ICW Zero G Champion.
A Staunch Shake Up
The All Star Zero G Championship Scramble was already providing quite a tall challenge for Wolfgang contending with former Zero G Champions Dylan Thorn, Daz Black, Theo Doros, BT Gunn, and Kez Evans, all vying for the title.
Jason Reed emerged as a late entrant, looking to reclaim his belt whilst maybe also making sure his recent rival Dylan Thorn didn’t make it out with the gold in his hands.
It looked to be a staunch night in The Garage with a low blow from Reed to Thorn about the steal the victory but a soaring Wolfgang landed a heavy Swanton Bomb onto the pile to grab the pin and retain.
That’s a collection of former champions sent to the back of the line, who’s next to challenge the big bad wolf?
Lost No More
The returns continued, not only Jason Reed, but we saw Natasha Swann doing her best to help the Ruff Riders fend off SAnitY with Arcade Violence continuing their reign as ICW World Tag Team Champions when the dust settled in a non-stop fatal four way that also included the Grizzled Young Veterans.
When it was announced that Judas Grey would have a mystery partner to face off against The Girvans, the speculation was quick to begin, could it be a cool guy with lots of friends? Could we see some Vanity? Or perhaps there would be an Influence, maybe some Good Times? But one name continued to be brought up again and again.
General Manager Sean McLaughlin took to the microphone to tell the Girvans a Christmas story, about Lewis and Fraser being the present of insanity, Judas Grey being the future of insanity, and this guy being a ghost of insanity past with Lost Boy Aspen making his way out to go toe to toe with his former King of Catch and Filthy Generation tag team partner.
Aspen and Judas may have got the three count on this night but the look in the eyes of Lewis Girvan told the whole story. There will be consequences for this shocking reunion.
A New King Crowned
On a night that also saw Angel Hayze take down the ICW Women’s World Championship in an epic ladder match against Daisy Jenkins, and a hawners nae handy Lana Austin that included the shock appearance from Hollie Barlow, it was also the night of a new King of Insanity.
Kenny Williams did everything he could to take back his ICW World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Fear & Loathing XVII but Rhio continued to show why she is one of the most sought after professional wrestlers in the world by making ‘The Scum of the Earth’ tap out in the centre of the ring to continue her historic reign as champion.
Now that Rhio has got rid of her Kenny Williams problem for the time being, all eyes will now be on February 7th to find out who will step up next and who will be looming in the shadows potentially for the rest of 2026.
A wild ride to close the year for Insane Championship Wrestling. 2025 has really rebuilt ICW as one of the top promotions in the country. With the foundations being steady there’s no imagining the heights that Insane Championship Wrestling could reach in 2026.
Replay of the event is available on Triller+, you can get a 7 day free trial for new subscribers.
