Jack Morris and Omos have defeated Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s ‘The New Year 2025’ event at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan to become the new GHC Tag Team Champions.

This marks the second GHC Tag Team Championship reign for Morris, having held the title with Anthony Greene for 266 days from 2023 to 2024.

Morris formed Team 2000X with Yoshitatsu, Daga, and Taishi Ozawa in 2024 years with current WWE Superstar Omos revealed has his mystery partner in the lead up to ‘The New Year’ event.

It continues the success that Morris has achieved in Japan, having been a former GHC National Champion in 2023, holding the title for 166 days along with his strong showings in the N1 Victory.

Last year saw Jack return to Scotland as part of the Pro Wrestling NOAH, in conjunction with PROGRESS Wrestling, UK Tour that saw him main event in Edinburgh, teaming with Saxon Huxley against Kaito Kiyomiya and Masa Kitamiya.

The former ICW Tag Team Champion, with Dickie Divers as part of The Nine9, returned to the Glasgow promotion in December against Reckless Intent Wrestling rival and previous ICW Zero G Champion, Theo Doros.
