ArdlerMania has been and gone and now it’s time for the aftermath from the Empire Zone that is harboured within the confines of The Tulloch Institute in Perth.

FCW Junior Heavyweight Championship – Botchico defeated Tommy Raiden by pinfall to retain the FCW Junior Heavyweight Championship

Botchico got the better of the opening lock up with Tommy spending more time to talk to the Fair City fans over actually getting involved in the action. A second lock up had Raiden get some traction but was soon on the opposite end of a wrist lock.

The exchange went back and forth, but it was Tommy that was once again more technically proficient by taking Botchico to the mat.

Raiden tried to knock the champion down but a solid Botchico stood firm to absorb the tackles from Bedlam. It started to boil down to a scrap with strikes being shared between the two.

Tommy begged off the masked man, only to sucker Botchico in for an eye rake to take control. Botchico stuck it out to twist Raiden with a neckbreaker to mount a comeback, a battering ram headbutt could only capture a two count.

Both men battled to the second turnbuckle for Tommy Raiden to knock Botchico down to the canvas. Raiden dived off the most dangerous rope but was caught with a Flatliner to get the victory for the FCW Junior Heavyweight Champion to retain the gold.

A solid first defence for Botchico. As the match went on the crowd came along with supporting Botchico to overcome the feral Tommy Raiden.

DE interrupted the next match from being announced, with the quartet arriving in full force. Spike insisted that everything was fine, as Duke grabbed the microphone and put the blame onto the shoulders of Tom Atlas. Sebastian Asher cut through Atlas with a spear.

Asher and Tierney held back as Duke directed traffic, finally getting his hands dirty to lift Tom for a Super Pina Collider with a Spike double foot stomp combo to leave their former stablemate laid out to close the episode.

A big twist to end the episode of Empire to keep viewers on the hook for further developments in the coming weeks. It was literally a one match show but the one match came out well.
