Former Insane Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre has won the 2020 WWE Men’s Royal Rumble by last eliminating Roman Reigns.
McIntyre eliminated WWE Champion Brock Lesnar with the Claymore Kick after Lesnar dominated the early going, eliminating thirteen competitors. McIntyre eliminated six competitors on route to victory, entering at number sixteen.
McIntyre’s win marks the first Scottish Royal Rumble winner, the former WWE Tag Team, Intercontinental and NXT Champion has earned a main event match at WrestleMania against a champion of his choosing.
The 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble also marked the shocking return of Edge along with MVP.
