6. Spike Tierney
Not listed in the last years edition, number 6 is Fair City Wrestling’s masked superstar Spike Tierney.
Spending the majority of his year at FCW, Spike captured the FCW Junior Heavyweight Championship, dethroning Taylor Bryden in a fatal four way that included Tom Atlas, and Nathan North in February which earned in a Wrestler of the Month award.
Tierney would go on to defend the championship eight times over the judging period, a brief injury saw his title placed on to Sebastian Asher for the interim but Tierney defeated Asher upon his return shortly afterwards at ‘ArdlerMania’.
Tierney also made an appearance for Fife Pro Wrestling Asylum, battling it out in a Fatal Fifeway qualifying rumble but came up short in his endeavour.
Rules:
- Qualifying. Wrestlers must have had at least 5 matches across our Featured Promotions during the judging period.
- We will follow a criterion that includes win–loss record, championships won, championships retained, number of Featured Promotions worked for, and Match/Wrestler of the Month results.
- Judging period. December 1st 2022 – November 30th 2023.
- Information has been gathered from results obtained during the judging period.
