4. Taylor Bryden

Last year’s number one, but don’t let that drop make you think ‘Tier Zero’ Taylor Bryden has taken his foot off the gas.

Coming into the judging period as W3L Heavyweight Champion, knocking back challenges from the likes of Gaia Hox, Lou King Sharp, Craig Stephens, Mr Tim Strange, Hugo Harris, Copenhagen Hangman in World Wide Wrestling League.

Despite losing the W3L Heavyweight Championship briefly to Doug Williams, he regained the title in about six weeks later, besting Williams at ‘Summer Spectacular’ in a two out of three falls match.

Once the title was regained the defences continued, not even Joe E Legend, or Jonny Storm could stop Bryden. Recording eleven recorded title retentions over the judging period.

Elsewhere, Bryden’s FCW Junior Heavyweight Championship reign at Fair City Wrestling came to an end in Tayport after a fatal four way saw Spike Tierney becoming the new champion in February, Bryden narrowly missed out on becoming FCW Heavyweight Champion in August in a match that saw Ian Ambrose survive a fatal four way bout to capture the gold. Bryden bounced back with a submission win over Rob Mills as he marches on to reclaim championship glory.
