Damien has been a staple in WrestleZone events since 2009. A Heavyweight champion, the first Undisputed champion, a Tag Team champion. He’s done it all.
Damien first wrestled in August of 2009 against the likes of WrestleZone alumni Matt Vaughn and Bryan Tucker, before defeating Mikey Morris in a Loser Leaves match in 2010. Later that year he went down to SWE and, alongside Johnny Lions, won their tag team titles. At the 2010 Summerhill Showdown event, Damien won the WrestleZone Heavyweight title from Lionheart. He then defeated the No Limits champion Scotty Swift in early 2011 to merge the two titles and become the first ever Undisputed WrestleZone champion.
Damien remained champion for the next 11 months, defending against the likes of Bryan Tucker, Scotty Swift and BT Gunn, before losing it to Tucker at the first show of 2012. He spent the next few months protecting his manager Richard R. Russell from being attacked by Crusher Craib, but Craib finally got his match in December 2012.
Damien started a rivalry with Zack Dynamite in early 2013, including attacking him during his match against William Sterling at the Regal Rumble. They had a match at Aberdeen Anarchy, WrestleZone’s 5 year anniversary supershow, which he won. He was then named the first challenger to Crusher Craib’s Undisputed title in Ellon, which he lost despite a valiant effort. Continuing his rivalry with Dynamite, they attacked each other with chairs, leading to a brutal chairs match at Another Wild Night. Damien ended up winning but Zack won the rematch at Halloween Hijinx with his career on the line, with Damien raisinghis hand afterwards. The rivalry concluded at the 2014 Cloverlead Hotel show with Dynamite winning a 20 minute Iron Man match 3-2.
Later on in the year, he formed the trio ‘Revolution’ with Johnny Lions and Chris Archer. They had a huge 6 man tag against Scotty Swift, Mr P and WWE legend X-Pac at May’s Aberdeen Anarchy which they lost following an X-Factor on Archer. Damien and Lions then seen this as Archer being a weak link and kicked him out of Revolution. In August at Battle of the Nations, he won the tag titles with Lions from the Hotshots (a match also involving the Thunder Buddies). They went on to injure the knee of Shawn Johnson but lost their titles at Hallowee. Hijinx in November to Bryan Tucker on behalf of the Hotshots.
Damien started 2015 with a loss to Johnson. He started with Crusher Craib at the Regal Rumble, superkicking him and making him lose his Undisputed title to Joe Coffey. The two agreed to a Revolution Rules at Aberdeen Anarchy. A chaotic match that Damien lost despite handing Crusher a concussion. The night ended on a high for Damien as he reformed Sterling Oil with William and Alan Sterling.
Sterling Oil spent the rest of the year targeting the new Undisputed champion Scotty Swift, with Damien winning a title match at Battle of the Nations-by DQ though, as Swift used a chair. A Sterling Oil beatdown ensued with a surprise return from Richard R. Russell. He recieved another title shot in Balmedie, but lost again after Scotty grabbed the tights. He then tried to convince his old tag team partner Johnny Lions to join him in Sterling Oil. The two of them and Bryan Tucker competed for a title shot at the Christmas Chaos (Comes Early) event and Damien came out on top. He will recieve his title shot at Summerhill Showdown on January 23rd.
In 2015, Damien also made his debut in Discovery Wrestling under the name Damien Daniels as part of their Y-Division, but was unsuccessful in his quest for the title.
