WrestleZone’s Aberdeen Anarchy is always the highlight of their year. This year it takes place on Saturday June 4th at Aberdeen’s Beach Ballroom. Today I’m going to give you a look at how I would book the road to the big event.
Damien wins the title from Scotty Swift following interference from the newest Sterling Oil member “Tenacious” Johnny Lions. Damien then has successful title defences in Montrose, Newtonhill and Peterhead.
Damien arrives at the Regal Rumble on March 26th and gives Scotty his title rematch. The referee is taken out from an accidental Scotty Swift clothesline which allows the rest of Sterling Oil to come out and attack Scotty. Damien then nails a superkick for the win and Scotty is stretchered out of the building. In the Regal Rumble match itself, it comes down to Crusher Craib and the rest of Sterling Oil. Crusher manages to eliminate William, Alan and Shawn, before being distracted by Damien, which allows Johnny to toss him out, earning a crack at Damien’s gold.
Following the match, Damien raises Johnny’s hand in victory before blindsiding him. Damien then states that he only used Johnny to win the title
At the next few shows, Johnny attacks Damien repeatedly, forcing management’s Chris McDonald to ban them from all events leading to the big day.
Aberdeen Anarchy arrives and Johnny faces Damien in the main event. The match goes on for 15 minutes before Lions nails a Lion Cutter out of nowhere. Richard R. Russell intervenes and pulls the referee out of the ring and decks him. This allows Sterling Oil to enter the ring and prevent Johnny from ever winning the gold. The ominous bell sounds and Crusher Craib appears on stage. He marches out and big boots Shawn before dismantled by the others. Scotty Swift then returns with a chair in hand and attacks every member of Sterling Oil. Chris McDonald then makes his way down to ringside and takes out Russell. Lions then nails a Lion Cutter off the top rope and McDonald counts the three. Johnny Lions is Undisputed champion.
That is how I would book the road to Aberdeen Anarchy 2016. Let’s see what happens.
