Preview: Reckless Intent Wrestling ‘Live In Twechar’ August 2017

Healthy Living & Enterprise Centre, Twechar

Reckless Intent return to Twechar on August 17th and they bring a special guest in Colt Cabana who has made several appearances for Reckless Intent Wrestling in the past including battles with Darren Lewis and DCT. He faces “The Cure” in Delsin Dayre, Dayre lost a bit of momentum at Cruel Summer as he was short on gaining the RI Heavyweight Championship in a tough triple threat including the champion, James Scott, and The Iron Man, Joe Coffey. A win over someone of Cabana’s stature should propell him back into championship contention.

Speaking of championship contentions, Reckless Intent Heavyweight Champion James Scott will be in action, though his opponent is yet to be confirmed as of writing. It isn’t even confirmed if Scott would be defending his title so this may be an opportunity of a lifetime for someone to surprise ‘The King of the North’ and either earn themselves a future title match, or even clain the title itself.

More champions in action in Twechar as Reckless Intent Slam Champion Dickie Divers and UK Champion DCT will be facing each other with the added inclusion of former Slam Champion David Devlin to make this a loaded triple threat. It is unknown as to whether either championship will be defended and if one is then advantage falls into the lap of Devlin who would enter with nothing to lose and everything to gain. Divers and DCT have been turning back challenger after challenger so know what it takes to leave with their respective championships safely in their respective hands.

Following their chaotic brawl at Cruel Summer, General Manager Scott Renwick has placed Chris Renfrew and Theo Doros against each other again in an attempt to settle their differences. Renfrew has unleashed a more aggressive side in the last month or so in Reckless Intent and has put his focus on The Cypriot Superman. Doros has been growing rapidly since joining The House of Saynt and getting a win over The Sultan of Silent Hill would catapult him up the ranks.

Another grudge match will reach conclusion as Michael Chase and Paul Tracey do battle, Chase has been the victim of ‘Paul Tracey Guys’ for months and he finally gets a showdown with their leader, The Lord of The Manor. Since losing the RI Heavyweight Championship to Tracey, Chase has been looking to get his hands on Tracey with no distractions. GM Scott Renwick also added the stipulation that all Paul Tracy Guys are barred from ringside, the manor may be set to crumble.

Paul Tracey Guy Lucian Maynard Smith will be in action against Headbander Jackie Grady. The Headbanders have been a thorn in the side of Smith with a loss to Mills and Raymond at Cruel Summer still sticking in his craw. He gets a chance of redemption by facing the third member in the hopes that The Headbanders don’t wash out The House of Smith.

Speaking of The Headbanders, Rob Mills and, WWE Mae Young Classic competitor, Ayesha Raymond team up against veterans Kirsty Love and Eric Canyon. Mills and Raymond are hot off beating Smith and Sara at Cruel Summer and have a lot of momentum going into this match.
