With all the fallout from Battle of the Nations just this past Saturday, the stars of WrestleZone are back once again this weekend as they return to Keith’s Longmore Hall. After the shocking conclusion to Battle of the Nations involving Damien and Sterling Oil, the WrestleZone fans will be eager to see what happens next as we near the end of the year.

Undisputed WrestleZone Championship
Chris Archer vs Shawn Johnson (c)

The main event for Saturday’s show will see Shawn Johnson put his Undisputed Championship on the line against The Rejected’s Chris Archer. Both of these men are proficient tag team wrestlers, with Shawn holding the Tag Team Championships four times (technically five if you include when he substituted for William Sterling last year) and Archer being a two-time tag champion. After retaining the title in a fantastic Triple Threat Match over Joe Coffey and Zach Dynamite at Battle of the Nations, Shawn was greeted with words of approval from his Sterling Oil colleagues. All but one, as Damien superkicked the champion to officially part ways with Sterling Oil. This has outraged Shawn and the rest of Sterling Oil, something that might mean bad news for Chris Archer. After losing the Tag Team Titles back to The Sterling Brothers this past Saturday, Alan Sterling took Archer’s partner Mikkey Vago out of action for the time being with a DDT on a steel chair to give him a grade 3 concussion. As a result, The Outcast will have to go solo for the time being. Despite losing the tag gold a few days ago, Archer already has the chance to win more gold in the form of the Undisputed Championship.

Damien vs William Sterling

After departing Sterling Oil at Battle of the Nations, Damien’s singles run will start in Keith as he faces one half of the brand new WrestleZone Tag Team Champions and one of his former allies, William Sterling. Damien’s last victory was in Fraserburgh earlier this year when he, Shawn Johnson and William defeated Scotty Swift and The Rejected. Since then, Damien has been losing to the likes of Johnny Lions, Bradley Evans and the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion, Tyler Bate. After showing respect to Tyler following their epic match at Battle of the Nations, Damien turned his back on Sterling Oil at the end of the night with a swift superkick to Shawn Johnson. Finally realising that there he can find success without Sterling Oil, The Revolutionary has earned the respect of the fans. Also at Battle of the Nations, William Sterling, alongside his brother Alan, became record-breaking five-time Tag Team Champions and put Mikkey Vago on the shelf for the time being with a concussion. Damien’s war against Sterling Oil begins this Saturday in Keith!

Crusher Craib vs Bradley Evans

Poor Bradley Evans. After officially joining the main roster this past February, Bradley’s career may come to an end this Saturday when he faces Sterling Oil member Crusher Craib. Since returning to WrestleZone at Aberdeen Anarchy, Crusher has set his sights on Scotty Swift and has now put him on the shelf with a severe grade 3 concussion after delivering three big boots and a Curb Stomp at Battle of the Nations. Sterling Oil’s monster is uncontrollable at the moment and he may look to continue to let out his aggression on young Bradley Evans this weekend. The next few weeks don’t look to be an easy ride for Evans, with Crusher Craib this week and then Andy Wild next Saturday in Brechin. But after seeing what Crusher did to Swift, will Bradley even be able to make it to Brechin?

Triple Threat Match
Mr P vs Johnny Lions vs Zach Dynamite

A rare triple threat between three fan favourites has also been scheduled for Saturday’s show as Mr P, Johnny Lions and Zach Dynamite collide in Keith. All three of these men came up on the losing end of huge matches at Battle of the Nations. Mr P lost to Andy Wild in the annual Battle of the Nations Match due to the interference of Nathan North, Johnny Lions failed to capture the Tri-Counties Championship from Aspen Faith and Zach Dynamite was unsuccessful in his match for the Undisputed Championship as Shawn Johnson retained. Two of the competitors in this match have history, as Mr P and Johnny Lions were once bitter rivals back in 2013/2014 that resulted in Mr P transitioning from WrestleZone management representative to wrestler. Whoever wins this contest will surely be in line for a shot at either of WrestleZone’s singles titles down the line.

Bryan Tucker vs The Super Executioner

Also signed for this Saturday is a match that sees one of the most accomplished grapplers in WrestleZone history Bryan Tucker taking on The Super Executioner. Tucker has done almost everything there is to be done in WrestleZone, having been a former Undisputed Champion, four-time Tag Team Champion and winner of the 2011 Regal Rumble. The Tri-Counties Championship is something that Tucker will look to add to his collection after coming up short in the tournament finals at Aberdeen Anarchy. While Tucker’s done it all, The Super Executioner has a total of two victories in his wrestling career. One over Lord Mr Malice and the other over the, at the time, Undisputed Champion Scotty Swift with help from Shawn Johnson. If Executioner can gain a third win in Keith, then he is almost certainly guaranteed a shot at either of WrestleZone’s singles titles in the near future.

The WrestleZone Dominator vs Blue Thunder

The last match signed for this Saturday sees The WrestleZone Dominator taking on Blue Thunder. The last time we saw Dominator was in Brechin last year when he lost to Bryan Tucker. There’s not much we know about him, except that he dominates apparently. His win/loss record tells a different story. Blue Thunder is a man loved by the WrestleZone fans and is always up for a good time, but the Dominator will look to put Thunder nice and quick in hopes of impressing WrestleZone management to earn a title shot in the future.

Tickets for the show are still available from www.ringsideworld.co.uk, priced at Β£12 for adults and Β£10 for under 14s. Fans can also pay at the door on the night. Doors open at 7pm with the action kicking off at 7:30pm.
