WrestleZone hold their last show of 2017 this Saturday as they present Christmas Chaos from the Danestone Community Centre in Aberdeen, and they’re going out in style. Kasey is set to make her debut, all three of WrestleZone’s titles will on the line and fan favourite Scotty Swift will be in attendance for the first time since being brutally injured at the hands of Crusher Craib!
Undisputed WrestleZone Championship
Damien (c) vs Crusher Craib
This Saturday’s main event will see an old rivalry reignited as Damien puts his Undisputed Championship on the line against his former Sterling Oil stablemate Crusher Craib. Since winning the gold from another former teammate in Shawn Johnson, The Revolutionary has had two successful defences with excellent matches against both Nathan North and Andy Wild. But a much tougher task now stands in his way as The Creator of Carnage stands across the ring. Since returning to in-ring competition at Battle of the Nations, Craib has yet to be pinned, having faced the likes of Bryan Tucker and Johnny Lions. With Scotty Swift, a man Crusher put on the shelf following a brutal beatdown, set to be in attendance, it could very well cost Crusher the match should Swift get involved.
Fatal Four Way Match for the WrestleZone Tri-Counties Championship
Aspen Faith vs Zach Dynamite (c) vs Bryan Tucker vs Lou King Sharp
A huge Fatal Four Way Match between four of the best in WrestleZone occurs this Saturday as Zach Dynamite puts his Tri-Counties Championship up for grabs against former champ Aspen Faith, Bryan Tucker and the returning Lou King Sharp. After being crowned the first champion back in June, Aspen went on to defend against all-comers such as Bradley Evans, Johnny Lions, Aaron Echo and Krieger. But after earning a crack at the title in Huntly, Zach Dynamite finally captured championship gold as he downed The King of Catch with his signature flying knee strike. A huge task now awaits him as not only will Faith get his obligatory rematch, but Bryan Tucker and Lou King Sharp, a man who hasn’t been seen since losing to Hornswoggle in a Battle of the Big Men at Aberdeen Anarchy, also challenge for the gold. A tough test for Fully Loaded.
Christmas Brawl for the WrestleZone Tag Team Championships
The Rejected (Chris Archer & Mikkey Vago) vs The Sterling Brothers (Alan Sterling & William Sterling) (c)
The last of three title matches sees The Sterling Brothers and The Rejected once again clash over the WrestleZone Tag Team Championships, this time in the annual Christmas Brawl. Since the start of the year, these four men have been at each other like a pack of dogs. After Archer and Vago answered the open challenge of Alan and William all the way back at Summerhill Showdown, Richard R. Russell’s men were desperate to get back to the titles. Following Russell inadvertently costing them their rematch in Newtonhill, a second rematch was scheduled for Aberdeen Anarchy with Russell’s hair also on the line. The Rejected went on to retain and Sterling Oil’s strategist was shaved bald. The two duos faced off again at Battle of the Nations in an Anything Goes Tornado Tag Team Match, with Alan and William using the Oil Crash to become record-breaking five-time Tag Team Champions. Alan put Vago on the shelf afterwards with a concussion following a DDT on a steel chair. The Heavy Metal Hooligan returned two weeks ago in Arbroath and issued one final challenge in a Christmas Brawl. With this being the final time these teams will face off, can The Rejected become three-time WrestleZone Tag Team Champions?
Mr P vs Nathan North & Jeeves Winchester
A rivalry that stems all the way back to Battle of the Nations continues in the Danestone Community Centre as Mr P once again gets his hands on “Vintage” Nathan North, this time in a Handicap Match as North will have the help (it’s Jeeves, not sure if help is the right word to use here) of his trusted manager Jeeves Winchester. After Nathan cost Mr P his Battle of the Nations Match against Andy Wild back in September, P was hellbent on getting revenge. With The Vintage One costing him more matches, including one for the Tri-Counties Championship, P finally got his hands on North at Halloween Hijinx a few weeks ago. But with the help of Winchester, North escaped with the victory in hand. With WrestleZone management wanting to put an end to this once and for all before we head into 2018, they’ve given P another chance at North and have added in Jeeves for good measure. If you’ve never seen Jeeves in action, you’re in for a treat!
Triple Threat Match
Johnny Lions vs Shawn Johnson vs Andy Wild
A huge Triple Threat Match between three former Undisputed Champions takes place on Saturday as Johnny Lions, Sterling Oil’s Shawn Johnson and Andy Wild collide. Lions has history with both men in this match, having battled Johnson back in 2014 when both were part of Revolution and The Granite City Hotshots respectively, while he and Wild faced off last year over the Undisputed Championship, with the unstoppable Englishman as then-champion. Andy was recently part of a WWE tryout, proving just how good he says he is. Since losing the Undisputed Championship to former stablemate Damien in October, Shawn Johnson has been more calculated in his offence and it’s only a matter of time before he comes back for the gold.
Sammii Jayne vs Kasey
Women’s wrestling makes its way to Christmas Chaos to round up the card as “The Queen of WrestleZone” Sammii Jayne faces off against WrestleZone debutant Kasey. Sammii has had some great contests since arriving in WrestleZone back in April 2015, facing the likes of Viper, Debbie Sharpe and somehow Cysto. Dubbing herself The Queen of WrestleZone, Kasey might have something to say about that in her WrestleZone debut. The Clown Princess of Carnage has been on a roll down in ICW, where she is currently in her second reign as the Women’s Champion. Both Kasey and Sammii were invited to participate in a WWE tryout recently, and with that accomplishment under their belts, fans are in for a treat on Saturday.
Also set for Christmas Chaos is an appearance from “The Red Haired Warrior” Scotty Swift. This will mark Swift’s first time in a WrestleZone ring since being put on the shelf following a brutal attack from Crusher Craib back at Battle of the Nations. Although it’s been confirmed he won’t be wrestling at the show, what does Scotty Swift have to say to the WrestleZone audience?
Tickets are still available from www.ringsideworld.co.uk, priced at £12 for adults and £10 for under 14s. Fans can also pay at the door on the night. Doors open at 6:30, with the action getting underway at 7pm.
