WrestleZone Tri-Counties Championship
Aspen Faith (c) vs Damien

“The King of Catch” Aspen Faith will put his Tri-Counties Championship on the line in Montrose in a huge first-time ever singles contest against former Undisputed Champion “The Revolutionary” Damien. After regaining the title from Zach Dynamite back at Summerhill Showdown, The King of Catch reclaimed his spot on top of the throne. Following a successful defence against one half of the Tag Team Champions Mikkey Vago last Saturday in Newtonhill, Aspen’s next challenge comes in the form of Damien this coming Saturday. Also at Summerhill Showdown, Damien was screwed out of the Undisputed Championship in a rematch with the now two-time champ Shawn Johnson, as Sterling Oil strategist Richard R. Russell low blowed Damien behind the referee’s back. Having lost one title just three weeks ago, could Damien possibly add another title to his collection this weekend?

Triple Threat Match
Jason Reed vs Shawn Johnson vs Mikkey Vago

Undisputed Champion Shawn Johnson is set for non-title action this Saturday night as he takes on Jason Reed and one half of the Tag Team Champions, Montrose’s very own Mikkey Vago in a Triple Threat Match. Having risen to the top of WrestleZone over the past year, the Sterling Oil golden boy recently became a two-time Undisputed Champion with a win over Damien last month, albeit with the help of Richard R. Russell. Although he’s yet to defend the title, Shawn has two tough opponents to get past this Saturday. Jason Reed got back to winning ways in Newtonhill with a victory over Cysto 2, while Mikkey Vago was unsuccessful in his attempt to win Aspen Faith’s Tri-Counties Championship. Despite the Undisputed Championship not being up for grabs in this match, it would still be a huge victory for either Reed or Vago if they can pin the reigning champion.

Handicap Match
Johnny Lions & Scotty Swift vs Sterling Oil (Crusher Craib & The Sterling Brothers (Alan Sterling & William Sterling))

“Tenacious” Johnny Lions returns from injury this weekend as he teams with Scotty Swift to face the Sterling Oil trio of Crusher Craib and The Sterling Brothers in a 2 on 3 Handicap Match. Swift made his return from injury at December’s Christmas Chaos event, saving Damien from a Sterling Oil beatdown and getting his hands on Crusher Craib for the first time since being brutally assaulted at Battle of the Nations. He then got himself disqualified in a singles bout with Craib at Summerhill Showdown after using a steel chair. Meanwhile, Johnny Lions has been out of action for a number of months now with a back injury, last being seen at WrestleZone’s show in Arbroath in November, which saw his second loss in a row to Crusher in singles action. The final piece of this match is The Sterling Brothers. They recently lost their Tag Team Championships back to The Rejected and per the stipulation, won’t be allowed another shot as long as Archer and Vago are the champs. So for the time being, they’re sort of just there to help with any Sterling Oil shenanigans. Five of WrestleZone’s biggest names collide in one match; who knows what could happen!

Mr P vs Nathan North

A fierce rivalry continues in Montrose as Mr P takes on “Vintage” Nathan North. These two have been at each other’s throats ever since September’s Battle of the Nations event, where North cost Mr P his Battle of the Nations Match against Andy Wild. After that, North would cost P further matches before they finally clashed at Halloween Hijinx, with Nathan picking up the win with help from Jeeves Winchester. A Handicap Match at Christmas Chaos saw P force Jeeves to tap out, with the most recent collision taking place at last month’s Summerhill Showdown event, where P, Bryan Tucker and Grado defeated North and The Sterling Brothers. Will this rivalry finally come to an end as we head towards next month’s Regal Rumble event?

Bradley Evans vs Zach Dynamite

In a rematch from Newtonhill this past Saturday, former friends will once again face off as Bradley Evans goes one on one with Zach Dynamite. After losing the Tri-Counties Championship back to Aspen Faith at last month’s Summerhill Showdown event, Dynamite snapped and assaulted Evans, blaming him for the loss. A singles match was scheduled between the pair for a show in Newtonhill last weekend, with Evans coming out victorious following Dynamite walking out on the match. Not happy with how the match ended, WrestleZone management have scheduled a rematch for this weekend. Evans will be hoping to get a proper match out of Fully Loaded this time around.

Andy Wild vs Chris Archer

Andy Wild has already had a pretty good year, with his only loss so far coming at the hands of The Rejected last month, where he and Jason Reed unsuccessfully challenged for the WrestleZone Tag Team Championships. The former Undisputed Champion will have the chance to redeem himself this weekend as he faces Chris Archer in singles action. Archer, alongside Mikkey Vago, became three-time Tag Team Champions back in December, where they defeated The Sterling Brothers in a phenomenal Christmas Brawl. Archer picked up a win over Nathan North last week, another man who unsuccessfully challenged for the Tag Titles alongside Andy Wild. The unstoppable Englishman hasn’t had the best of luck against Archer in their previous encounters; will luck be on his side in Montrose?
