Predicting The Card For WrestleZone Aberdeen Anarchy X

WZ

Battle of the Nations 2018 is in the history books, meaning the next big stop on WrestleZone’s calendar is Aberdeen Anarchy X. This year’s supershow takes place on Saturday September 1st once again from Aberdeen’s Beach Ballroom, and will feature former WWE superstars Santino Marella and Chavo Guerrero. One match has already been confirmed following the results of two matches this past Saturday;

Steel Cage Match for the Undisputed WrestleZone Championship
Special Guest Ringside Enforcer – Lee McAllister
Shawn Johnson (c) vs Damien

With this history-making main event signed, what else can we see signed to fill out the #AA2K18 card?

Fatal Four Way Elimination Match for the WrestleZone Tri-Counties Championship
Andy Wild (c) vs Mr P vs Zach Dynamite vs Nathan North

Andy Wild was scheduled to defend the Tri-Counties Championship at Battle of the Nations against both Mr P and Zach Dynamite, but he was forced to pull out and be replaced by Jason Reed, making it a #1 Contenders Match instead. “Vintage” Nathan North, furious at having lost earlier in the night, entered with a steel chair in hand and took out P and Dynamite, while leaving Reed to himself. It’s been promised that we’ll hear from North this week, but expect to see some sort of Fatal Four Way at The Beach Ballroom with some sort of stipulation, I’ve gone for an Elimination Match because they’re a rarity in WrestleZone these days.

Ladder Match for the WrestleZone Tag Team Championships
The Rejected (Chris Archer & Mikkey Vago) (c) vs The Kings of Catch (Aspen Faith & Lewis Girvan)

The Rejected regained the Tag Team Championships at Battle of the Nations over The Kings of Catch and reigning champs Proper Mental. The former champions moved on to other business later in the night which we’ll speak about in a minute, so it only seems right The Kings of Catch are the challengers for Aberdeen Anarchy. Throw all four men in with ladders and you’re bound to see something pretty spectacular.

Grado & Santino Marella vs Proper Mental (Lou King Sharp & Krieger)

Santino Marella was the first former WWE superstar announced for Aberdeen Anarchy back in March. Known for his comedic persona, the obvious opponent for The Milan Miracle was Grado. However following Proper Mental’s assault on Grado during the main event at Battle of the Nations, The Chubby Wee Chancer could do with some backup for a good old fashioned tag team match playa! Enter Santino. Every show needs a bit of comedy, and these four together could be absolute gold.

Chavo Guerrero vs Jason Reed

The second ex-WWE guest is Chavo Guerrero, a member of one of wrestling’s most acclaimed families. His family have had great success over the last few decades. Speaking of being great, Jason Reed has been on a crusade as of late to make WrestleZone great again. Getting a win over someone like Chavo Guerrero could be the next step in these plans. If he loses, he’ll just class it as fake news…

Granite City Street Fight
Scotty Swift, Johnny Lions & Bryan Tucker vs Sterling Oil (Crusher Craib & The Sterling Brothers (Alan Sterling & William Sterling))

The blood fued between Scotty Swift and Crusher Craib is far from over, so chuck Bryan Tucker, Johnny Lions, and The Sterling Brothers in again and make it a Street Fight. Swift and Craib have plenty of history inside The Beach Ballroom, it’s the same venue where Crusher got injured before returning a year later to cost The Red Haired Warrior his Undisputed Championship. Assuming this is the end of the rivalry, it would be better for it to be one on one but couldn’t think of anything else for Tucker, Lions, and the brothers to do on the show, so here they are aswell.

Sammii Jayne vs Little Miss Roxxy

Sammii Jayne vs Little Miss Roxxy is a match that WrestleZone have tried to do twice but were forced to cancel on both occasions, firstly due to the severe weather conditions and then more recently due to Sammii suffering a broken ankle. I believe Sammii should be back in time for Aberdeen Anarchy, so I’d assume WrestleZone would try one more time? It’s a shame really, I’ve hear great things whenever these two have faced off elsewhere.

Pre-Show Intergender Match
Bradley Evans, Kaden Garrick & Nova Moore vs The Outfit (Dino Del Monte & Ted O’Keefe) & Anastasia Hawthorne

Last but not least is the VIP ticket holders pre-show. Throw in six graduates of the WrestleZone Training Academy for a showcase match, with Bradley Evans, Kaden Garrick, and Nova Moore on one side, while Dino Del Monte, Ted O’Keefe, and Anastasia Hawthorne are on the other. Aside from the more experience Evans and Garrick, the other four could benefit greatly from competing in such a huge venue.

Judging by what happened at the weekend, it’s highly likely that this could be a potential card. Some very intriguing matches indeed.

What bouts would you like to see as WrestleZone celebrate their tenth anniversary?
