Crusher Craib has remained unpinned and unsubmitted since his return to WrestleZone at Battle of the Nations 2017. Not a single person has been able to pin his shoulders to the mat for a count of three or make him tapout. As a result, he’s issued an open challenge to anyone to come face him at Summerhill Showdown on Saturday evening. So, who will accept the challenge?

Kaden Garrick

Kaden Garrick is quite the opposite of Crusher Craib. Since his return in the 2018 Regal Rumble Match, the former two-time Tag Team Champion has gained just one victory, that being over Lord Michael of Graham last May. He could be a major player in the Tri-Counties Championship scene, perhaps even the Undisputed Championship picture too. Being the first to pin The Creator of Carnage would do major things for Kaden’s career and with no match for him scheduled as of writing, he could be the one to answer the challenge.

Jesse Santana

Jesse Santana has recently been appearing on The Kingdom of Catch’s show Kings Road Warriors, coming out victorious in the first episode over fellow competitors Angel Hayze and Ashley Vega. The Princess of Pro Wrestling recently returned from injury and personally, I think he’d be a perfect fit for WrestleZone. Crusher Craib obviously won’t be taking too kindly to kissing Jesse’s sass and although he’ll likely get a big boot for his troubles, please get Jesse in a WrestleZone before the year comes to an end.

Ryan Riley

Like with Kaden Garrick, Ryan Riley currently has no match scheduled for Summerhill Showdown. He and Crusher Craib faced off two months ago in Arbroath, where Riley’s confidence got the best of him as Crusher came out on top. The Inspirational One is yet to pick up a huge victory, with his only win thus far coming against another man who debuted in 2018 – Dino Del Monte. Imagine kicking off 2019 with a win over a man the calibre of Crusher Craib. Inspirational to say the least.

El Phantasmo

As far as I’m aware, El Phantasmo will still be in Scotland on Saturday following his debut for Discovery Wrestling the day before. The Canadian export is without a doubt one of the finest wrestlers on the independent circuit right now, with his outstanding abilities in the ring. If his theme starts playing over the PA system on Saturday, there may not be that many people in the crowd who know who he is but by the end of the night, I can guarantee the crowd will be in full support of him.
