This week, WWE have been holding an all-women’s tryout at their UK Performance Centre. One of the names who attended the tryout was Aivil (otherwise known as Jokey). Although she originally hails from Italy, The Twisted Priestess has been plying her trade on the Scottish wrestling scene for the last few years.
After beginning her career in her homeland for promotions such as Italian Championship Wrestling, Aivil made her way to Scotland and joined the Glasgow Pro Wrestling Asylum, which is arguably the greatest training facility for wrestlers in the country today. She’s since made her name known all around the country, wrestling for the likes of Scottish Wrestling Alliance, Fierce Females, and Insane Championship Wrestling.

In the last few months, she’s become one of the biggest names in ICW’s women’s division, unsuccessfully challenging Kay Lee Ray for the Women’s World Championship on night two of the company’s recent King of Hawners tournament. She’s got another championship match coming up next month opposite KLR and fellow challenger Kasey, a match she now heads into on an all-time high following this tryout.
Other notable names from the tryout include current Fierce Females Internet Champion Debbie Keitel, former Preston City Wrestling and Tidal Championship Wrestling Women’s Champion Rhio, and Ireland’s favourite daughter Session Moth Martina.
We at the Scottish Wrestling Network would like to express our most sincere congratulations to Aivil and everyone else who took part in the tryouts!
