Following the tragic passing of UK wrestling legend, ICW World Champion and owner of Ayr based Pro Wrestling Elite, Adrian “Lionheart” McCallum just a few weeks ago, his friends in the Scottish wrestling community have come together to ensure that the promotion’s 8th Anniversary Show on Saturday 20 July in the Citadel will be going ahead in his honour.

Over the past eight years, Adrian worked tirelessly as a part of the Ayrshire community building PWE to provide regular, affordable, family entertainment for thousands of people every year.

Knowing the pride and passion he had in life for running these events, a collective of his nearest friends (and greatest rivals) have come joined together to make sure that the landmark event goes on in his memory.

Commenting on the event, the first ever PWE Heavyweight Champion and long-time friend of Lionheart, Andy Wild said: “’As the first ever PWE Heavyweight Champion, this show going ahead means the world to me. Adrian worked tirelessly not only to build a world class working environment for wrestlers, but to deliver a world class product to wrestling fans in Ayr.

“We have all come together to make sure that Adrian’s 8 years of hard work is presented to the fans of Ayr the way he wanted it to be by making sure this anniversary show still goes ahead.”

We were very fortunate to have obtained details for all existing ticket holders – everyone who bought a ticket has been contacted with information and instructions about getting into the event. To put it simply, we have your name and e-mail and this will be used as confirmation on the door exactly the same way. If you are now unable to attend or no longer wanting to attend – please be aware that this event is being run by a seperate entity and there is no refund available and we are not in the position to refund previously purchased tickets, However we do believe the show should go on in respect of those who spent their money to come and see PWE.
