Michael Chase

Seeing as he’s retiring at the start of next month, it would simply be a nice feel-good moment for Michael Chase to win this year’s Reckless Rumble Match. He’s a former winner and has done all there is to accomplish inside a Reckless Intent ring, being perhaps the most recognisable face to the regular attendees. While the usual scenario sees wrestlers losing in their final matches, Chase wouldn’t necessarily have to capture the Heavyweight Championship if he were to win the Rumble, but he could always retire as champion. Either way, he’s my top pick to win this year’s over the top contest.

Alexander Darwin MacAllan

The current Source Champion isn’t the most well-liked man on the Reckless Intent roster (or any roster to be completely honest), but Alexander Darwin MacAllan is a force to be reckoned with whenever he steps through the curtain. Having held the aforementioned championship for over a year now, The Clyde River Killer has cemented himself as the guy to beat over in Source Wrestling, and he’s slowly starting to do the same thing here in RI, thanks in part to victories over the likes of Theo Doros and David Devlin. His imposing stature makes ADM a real threat to the rest of the entrants in this year’s Reckless Rumble.

Jack Morris

The winner of the Reckless Rumble will receive a future opportunity at the Reckless Intent Heavyweight Championship, with the current champion being Dickie Divers, the Nine9 partner of Jack Morris. However, that’s not to say Jack doesn’t want to hold that title. After all, he’s already taken the UK Championship from Divers back at July’s Cruel Summer event, so maybe he wants to add more gold to that collection. Either that, or he’ll win and we’ll get a fingerpoke of doom moment. What’s not to love about either of those options?

Aspen Faith

Shock fills the room as I’ve included Aspen Faith on this list. It’s for a good reason though – this is Aspen’s first appearance in Reckless Intent in five years. He’s changed a fair bit since then. To put it simply, when Aspen last appeared in a Reckless Intent ring, he was still The Hippie Horror. He’s gone through quite the transformation since, turning into a Lost Boy and trading the tie-dye tights for piledrivers. Another formidable opponent for the other entrants competing in this year’s Reckless Rumble.

Sugar Dunkerton

A wildcard pick really in the form of Sugar Dunkerton. He’s appeared for Reckless Intent on a handful of occasions in the last year and a bit, capturing the Hardcore Championship along the way. He came close to winning the Heavyweight Championship at Cruel Summer – can he complete stage one of the journey tomorrow night in Livingston?
