Big Massive Wrestling return for their second event after a successful debut back in June which will once again emanate from the Mayfield Community Centre in Stirling. Coming out of that first show was high praise from a packed crowd, Big Massive Wrestling will hope to continue that run with their next show that’s taking place this weekend. Promoting family friendly wrestling featuring some big names in the current UK scene along with those on the ascendancy, Big Massive Wrestling once again have a big massive line up on the cards.
Soldato vs XERO
Soldato is coming off a big win in Big Massive Wrestling following his victory in the Lucha War, he comes up against the terrifying and unpredictable Xero. Xero, whose trainers include Mikey Whiplash, has certainly found his dark corner in the world of professional wrestling with his methodical and unusual offence along with his haunting promos. Soldato will have to rely on his speed to avoid getting grabbed by the inhuman because if he doesn’t, he may be in for a scary ride.
Aces N Angels (Ace Anderson & Dylan Angel) vs BMD (JD Bravo & Bobby Roberts) w/Matt Tyson
‘Big Money’ Matt Tyson brings the big bruising force that is BMD to Big Massive Wrestling to take on the young team of Ace Anderson and Dylan Angel. BMD have a bit more tag team experience having been former UCW and RPW Tag Team Champions. Last time out Aces N Angels defeated the team of JD Bravo and Saqib Ali, so Bravo has returned with this big pal, and regular teammate Roberts, plus has the ever present Matt Tyson, who is building quite the stable of talent to his books. Anderson and Angel will have to rely on their speed to discombobulate their larger opponents, but don’t sleep on Bravo who has some remarkable agility of his own. Anderson and Angel will be trying to avoid being cornered by ‘Big Beefy’ Bobby Roberts, who can be a juggernaut when he gets momentum going.
Krieger vs Aaron Echo
After a show stealing performance against Andy Wild (available to watch here), ‘Scudmaster Sexy’ Krieger will be hoping to continue that run as he takes on Aaron Echo. Echo makes his debut in Big Massive Wrestling but the ‘King of Benidorm’ has been enjoying success in across the country as of late with regular appearances in Insane Championship Wrestling. These are two big lads so may come down to them likely knocking lumps out of each other for our enjoyment. Krieger, more well known for his tag team exploits, has been striking out on his own and gaining plenty of traction in singles competition, a win here will continue that momentum.
Robbie Solar vs Angel Hayze
Bouncing back from the Lucha War, Robbie Solar takes on the undefeated (in BMW) Angel Hayze. Hayze has been on a tear right now, facing men and women up and down the country, all the while leaving an impression wherever she goes, proving not to underestimate someone of her small stature. She faces the lightning fast Robbie Solar. This will be a fast paced, blink-and-you-will-miss-something type of match that will certainly showcase both talent’s reflexes and split second timing. Solar has been around for a number of years now while Angel Hayze is a new kid on the block, it might all come to experience but it will be fast, furious and certainly a spectacle.
Kid Fite vs Lucha DS
The masked luchador Lucha DS comes up against one of his trainers, ‘The Demolition Man’ Kid Fite. Fite is, pound-for-pound, one of the best wrestlers in the country right now for my money. He has this fantastic ability to play puppet master with the crowd to get the desired emotions all the while finding ways to punish opponents in vicious, and often sneaky, fashion. Lucha DS is no slouch with his incredible acrobatics, flips and tricks to knock even the most assured wrestler off their game. This could be looked at as a clash of styles, but that often makes for the best matches. The wily veteran Fite is no stranger to swatting high flyers so the current PBW King of Cruisers will have to dive into his bag of tricks to outwit Fito.
Leyton Buzzard vs Lou King Sharp
Two of the fastest rising stars in wrestling right now, Oriental Wrestling Entertainment’s Lou King Sharp taking on the current SWA X Champion Leyton Buzzard. Sharp has recently returned from China where he has been riling up crowds and causing near riots due to his antics. Buzzard has been wowing spectators thanks to his awesome athleticism everywhere he has travelled to. Both men are coming off loses against Prince Asad and Kid Fite respectively from June so will be wanting to get onto the winning track. ‘The Captain’ and ‘The Blood Tourist’ are both young and are phenomenal wrestlers, they have charisma that’s near unmatched in the UK right now so this could very well be the match of the night either from a wrestling standpoint or just from a pure entertainment aspect.
Tickets are still available from Ringside World, with a line up like that it has to be worth getting along to on Saturday. It’s chance to see some of next big stars in wrestling in front of your very eyes.
