With the final top ten list of 2019 being published yesterday, it allows us to kick off 2020 by taking a look at the 2019 Wrestlers of the Month full league table. What better way to kickstart the new decade than with some statistical fun? Trick question, of course – there is no better way.

So, as we can see from the table, being on the list more often doesn’t always guarantee you more points. A perfect example of this is the number three ranked wrestler Kieran Kelly, who made six appearances to pick up his 34 points, while Leyton Buzzard (who’s ranked at number two) made one less appearance than Kelly to collect 41 points over the year. If you do something great during a month where there isn’t too much else going on, like what Leyton did in December by winning the ICW Zero-G Championship during a fairly quiet month, then the chances are you’ll get a higher ranking. That’s obviously what they all want to achieve, right?
It’s been great fun (or, for fans of Miranda who had her reunion show earlier tonight, it’s been such fun) doing Wrestlers of the Month throughout 2020. I sincerely hope you’ve all enjoyed reading, and I look forward to getting back into the swing of things come February 1st for the third series.
