We are back baby! With a new decade and new stories to tell and we are on the road to the Square Go (it doesn’t seem that long since the last one) here is a prediction sheet on what is gonna go down on show day!

Six Man Scrap! Ft Kez Evans, Alexander Dean, Luca De Pazzi, Kid Fite, Andy Wild and BT Gunn

Kicking off 2020, we have an absolute belter of a match to determine who will get their entrants into the match.

At the last Fight Club tapings of 2019, Carmel Jacobs announced that its basically a six man elimination match, the first man eliminated is gonna enter at number 1, the other eliminations determine entrants 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 to the Square Go!

Kez Evans – This Guy has been on a tear, having beat Ilja Dragunov at Fear and Loathing and former tag champ Lewis Girvan at the last Fight Club of the 2019. But with enemy, and coach, BT Gunn also in the match, this could be very interesting. It won’t be long before this man gets a title opportunity, could this be his golden ticket?

Alexander Dean – The Politickin timebomb and Irish wrestler of the year 2019, has made his intentions quite clear after being defeated by Stevie Boy at the last Fight Club of 2019. Either way, he is going to get his title match by ANY means necessary and Dean lives up to every word he says!

Luca De Pazzi – Luca hasn’t been seen since the dark match at Fear and Loathing where he earned a place in the Square Go match. After defeating Leyton Buzzard and Kieran Kelly, Luca ended up feuding with Kid Fite at the last Fight Club taping of 2019 and ran to Commissioner Carmel claiming that he was a VIP and Carmel told him that he deserved a VIP spot in the Square Go and gave him his opportunity to be in the scrap match.

Andy Wild – With the feud with Mark Coffey over at Fear and Loathing, and at the last Fight Club taping of 2019, Andy just missed out becoming the number one contender for a title shot against Stevie Boy when he faced Noam Dar. The Stovie Dad Bod God is looking forward to the Square Go and is set to make 2020 his year and will he take the other opponents for a Wild night out?

Kid Fite –. Since Fear and Loathing after defeating Chief Deputy Dunne, Fito is still itching to get his hands on Paul Robinson for a much needed scheme booting, but until then, he has acquired a new target – Luca De Pazzi. At the last Fight Club taping of 2019, Fito and Luca have gotten on the wrong side of each other, but since they are both in the scrap match, could this cost either man?

BT Gunn – The Oddity hasn’t been seen since Fear and Loathing after that match with Sami Calihan, but he claims he never lost his title originally when he was champion as he was never pinned. Plus BT has been working hard constantly at the Iron Girders Gym to get back into winning ways, but with Kez Evans in this match as well, could this be the fuel he needs not only for the Square Go, but Sami Callihan?

Winner – I genuinely can’t call this one as each man is a definite contender and anyone could win this and anything can happen on the night. But I’d have to go for Alexander Dean to walk away with the spot.

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but each competitor at some point on the run up to this match has had beef with someone, apart from Andy Wild and Alexander Dean who haven’t had feuds with anyone in this match (possible feud?) personally I’d love to see Alexander Dean vs BT Gunn or Andy Wild at some point in the future.

Stevie Boy vs Ravie Davie

This will be the non-title rematch from the first Gonzo show. After the events that occurred during the show, the match was ruled a no contest.

Coming off that massive win at Fear and Loathing against Joe Coffey and a non-title match against Alexander Dean at the last Fight Club taping of 2019, Stevie Boy is looking ahead to the Square Go, but the King of Insanity has a test in the Fresh Prince of Drumoyne Square.

Now after the events that occurred during the last fight club taping of 2019, Ravie Davie is on wafer thin ice and Commissioner Carmel has made it clear that his scheme pals had better stay away from that ring.

Could it be the perfect birthday gift for the Fresh Prince if he was to defeat the king of insanity?

WinnerStevie Boy

Leyton Buzzard vs TK Cooper

This will be Captain Leyton Buzzard’s first Zero-G title defence since becoming the number one contender at the last Fight Club taping of 2019 and defeating Liam Thompson to become the Zero-G Champion that same night. But can the Captain hang onto his gold in time for the Square Go?

Making his ICW debut is TK Cooper, 26 years old and has been wrestling since 2011, with 8 years experience, he is a former Breed Pro Champion and a former MCW World Heavyweight Champion. This young man has trained under the likes of Alfred Valentine, Paul Kingi, Dave O’Connor and Travis Banks. His signature moves being the RockPaperScissors Kick, Belly-To-Back Piledriver and is determined to make his mark in ICW. TK has done his homework on Leyton Buzzard and he’s ready for a fight.

WinnerLeyton Buzzard. I think he’s going to have a long title for as long as possible and I can’t even think of the names that could challenge for that belt!

Angel Hayze vs Kasey

“The Mother of Chaos” Kasey Owens has her first match of 2020 against “The Young Lioness” Angel Hayze.

At the last Fight Club taping of 2019, Kasey and her tag team partner Little Miss Roxxy lost their tag match to Angel Hayze and “Twisted Priestess”, and ICW Woman’s World Champion, Aivil. Now having ditched her manager The Wee Man after the match, will this be a different Kasey we see when this match kicks off?

This will be Angels first singles match since Gonzo where she missed out by being the number one contender. Could this put her on the path to a woman’s title shot in the future?

Winner – I’m going to go for Kasey.

Krobar vs Lou King Sharp – Death Match!

Hang onto your arseholes folks cause this is going to be an all out war as one half of The Purge Krobar takes on “Blood Tourist.” Lou King Sharp in a Death Match!

Currently the tag teams of The Purge and The Fite Network have been at each other’s throats, with the last match between Stevie James and Krieger being thrown out. The Purge are the reigning ICW Tag Team Champions and the tag team Kings of Insanity having defeated the Kings of Catch, while The Fite Network became the number one contenders defeating The Nine9.

Lou King Sharp is the Blood Tourist and has spent the latter half of 2019 away in China and other parts of the globe, so I wouldn’t underestimate how far he is willing to go in a death match.

Krobar is a part of Bad Company/Purge and an Asylum original, plus he is one half of the tag team champions of Insanity and a King of Hauwners winner alongside Bad Company members BT Gunn and Stevie James. Krobar is the maker of the Unbreakable Tables and this will be his first match as a singles competitor in ages.

Winner – I genuinely can’t call this one as this could get very messy very quickly and neither team wants to see the other make it to the Square Go.

The Nine9 vs Kings of Catch

This will be the Nine9 (Jack Morris and Dickie Divers) and the Kings of Catch’s (Lewis Girvan and Aspen Faith) first match back in ICW since Fear and Loathing.

The Kings of Catch last match together was at the Fear and Loathing at the Kings of Insanity where they lost their tag titles to the Purge. Now Aspen has his sights on the ICW Tag Team titles and Lewis has his sights on the ICW World Heavyweight Championship! Could we see both kings with all the belts?

The Nine9 were last seen at Fear and Loathing when they lost the right to become the new number one contenders against The Fite Network. In a promo, Divers has made it clear that it’s either going to be him or Jack Morris that’s going to be standing tall.

WinnersNine9

Liam Thompson vs Jason Reed

This is Liam’s first match back since losing his Zero-G title to Leyton Buzzard at the last Fight Club taping of 2019.

Jason Reed has a been making a name for himself since his debut in Aberdeen at “Drippin’Like A Knackered Fridge.” At last years Fear and Loathing, Jason has aligned himself with mentor Coach Trip, who has been at his side, as he has beaten SBX, Davey Blaze and Scott McManus and he wants to get to 55 (think it’s a football thing. Personally, as I don’t follow football, I don’t get it). Can Jason keep up this momentum and make ICW great again and make the Square Go “Staunch”? Because him and Coach Trip are …. The People.

WinnerJason Reed?

Michael May vs Kieran Kelly

The returning Michael May makes his ICW Garage debut, having made quite the impression at the first two Gonzo shows having faced both Joe Coffey and Kez Evans. This time around, Michael hopes to impress the ICW Mafia when he takes on ‘Shotgun’ Kieran Kelly.

Kieran Kelly’s last match was at the last Fight Club taping of 2019 where he just missed becoming the new number one contender to the Zero-G title and after being unsuccessful, he’s hoping to get that win and earn his shot against nemesis Leyton Buzzard.

Winner – I’m gonna say Michael May.
