Aivil to relinquish ICW Women’s Championship

Sad news coming out of Insane Championship Wrestling tonight, with the news that this weekend’s ICW Fight Club will see a title relinquished.

ICW have confirmed that Women’s Champion Aivil will be forced to relinquish the Women’s Championship due to injury, having won the title back at ICW Fear & Loathing XII against the history-making Kasey, who has the joint-most reigns with current NXT U.K. Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray.

Since winning the title, Aivil has been a defending champion, successfully retaining her Championship against the likes of Isla Dawn, as well as defending the gold against Mila Smidt in Switzerland to maintain the belt’s status as a world championship.

ICW founder and owner Mark Dallas would comment, wishing Aivil all the best in her recovering – a sentiment we, at the Scottish Wrestling Network, would like to echo.
