Joe Hendry is the NEW Impact Wrestling Digital Media Champion.
Hendry defeated former WWE Tag Team Champion Brian Myers, who was accompanied by Matt Cardona. To join the likes of former Digital Media Champions Jordynne Grace, Matt Cardona, and Rich Swann.
It wasn’t without shenanigans, Cardona tried to intervene but was stopped by Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions Rhino and Heath.
On September 16th it was announced that Joe Hendry had signed with Impact Wrestling and was there to motivate the roster.
Less than 2 months later Hendry has won his first championship in the promotion.
Joe Hendry faces BT Gunn this Sunday at Discovery Wrestling ‘Year Seven’ when he defends the Y Division Championship, a title he has held since October 2019. Tickets available here.
