9. Lucha DS
Lucha! Number 9 is everyone’s favourite luchador Lucha DS. Defeating Xero and Pro2 Wrestling kicked off the judging period before heading to Source Wrestling to beat Colton Davis.
A near successful campaign up in Combat League Wrestling saw him start with House Raven before being traded to House Stag, his House did reach the final of the season before ultimately being defeated by House Wolf.
Lucha became the first Clyde Valley Wrestling Lanarkshire Champion, defeating Jay The Jackal and Hugo Harris in April, defending the championship in CVW, along with a successful defence against Shaun Faegan at Source Wrestling in May, and against Colton Davis at West Kintyre Promotions in October.
Back at Pro2, Lucha picked up the Pro2 Ayrshire Tag Team Championships with Soldato at ‘Battle Lines’, defeating Big Ross Hauser and Ewan O’Raw to win the vacant championships, their victory was short lived as they lost the titles to Adam Shame and Sweeney the following month at ‘Brawl At The Hall II’.
