3. Caleb Valhalla
SKOL! At number three, making his way from Asgard, is everyone’s favourite Viking Caleb Valhalla.
Since becoming the inaugural Fair City Wrestling Heavyweight Champion in October 2021, Caleb turned back every challenger that came his way with successful defences against Ian Ambrose, Nathan Reynolds, Andy Wild, Ryan Roode, Luke Matthews, Dickie Divers, Euan G Mackie, and Ryan Riley over the course of the year.
Heading all of the country with multiple shows a day, Valhalla reached 8 of our featured promotions during the year including multiple appearances on the WWE Network for Insane Championship Wrestling.
Valhalla went to war with Griffin at Discovery Wrestling, but also squeezed in a barnburner with Will Kroos.
At WrestleZone, Valhalla defeated Crusher Craib in Ellon, before finally breaking away from Captain Alan Sterling at ‘Regal Rumble’ following a failed WrestleZone Tag Team Championships opportunity. Their initial showdown was halted by COVID-19, with Sterling sneaking a victory at ‘Battle of the Nations’.
Over at Fife Pro Wrestling Asylum, Caleb battled John Kerr at FPWA’s debut event, thought unsuccessful, the match was voted the Match of the Month for September to go with his Wrestler of the Month award for January and November.
