
It has been confirmed that due to his ongoing commitments in Japan, Jack Morris has relinquished the Reckless Intent Heavyweight Championship.
Morris defeated Theo Doros on July 2nd 2022 to win the RI Heavyweight Championship, winning every championship and accolade he could in Reckless Intent Wrestling.
Weeks after his victory, Jack Morris was confirmed to be taking part in NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament. He has since continued to return to Japan regularly, facing top Japanese wrestlers, along with a marquee match with former NXT star Timothy Thatcher, defeating Thatcher at NOAH’s New Year event on January 1st.
Although Morris has vacated the RI Heavyweight Championship, he has noted that it won’t be the last time he will be at Reckless Intent Wrestling.
Reckless Intent Wrestling celebrate 10 years on February 4th at Murieston Scout Hall in Livingston, which will feature the return of Michael Chase, the continuation of the Reckless Intent Tag Team Tournament, plus Emersyn Jayne defends the Women of Reckless Championship.
