Don’t miss your chance to see these athletes bring their best moves and show what they’re made of in the ring. With a line-up like this, you’re sure to see some of the most exciting matches of the year!

Here’s a full rundown of the announced card and what to expect from this event:

Main Card
Discovery Wrestling Y Division Championship – Joe Hendry (c) vs Gene Munny

Joe Hendry’s title reign as the Discovery Wrestling champion, which has lasted for over 1,130 days, may soon come to an end as he is set to face off against Gene Munny, the “damn dirty dog.” Hendry won the belt back in October 2019 in a gruelling steel cage match and has since seen massive success in ROH and Impact Wrestling, all while maintaining his reign as the champion within Discovery Wrestling.

Most recently, he defeated BT Gunn with the help of outside interference from his newly formed faction consisting of Robb Stow and Mister Manoval. Meanwhile, this match presents a huge opportunity for fan-favourite Gene Munny. Gene Munny, who recently had a major victory against Jack Morris who himself has been making waves in Pro Wrestling Noah, is on a roll and poised for a chance to become the fan-favourite champion. With this upcoming match, there is a possibility that a new champion may be crowned this Friday.

Discovery Wrestling Women’s Championship – Kasey (c) vs Lana Austin

Kasey will be defending her Women’s Championship in Discovery Wrestling for the first time since winning it a year ago. She claimed the title in a triple threat match against Emersyn Jayne and Session Moth Martina. Being able to overcome the odds with the assistance of Molly Spartan, but due to injuries and other circumstances, she hasn’t been able to defend it.

Lana Austin earned a shot at the championship after defeating Ashley Vega at the “All About The Raffle” event in February 2022. Since then, Lana Austin has undergone a significant character transformation, making this an eagerly anticipated title match that has been a year in the making.

Discovery Wrestling Tag Team Championships – Kings of the North (Damien Corvin & Bonesaw) (c) vs Wild Lions (Johnny Lions & Andy Roberts)

Johnny Lions is making a triumphant return to Discovery Wrestling as he reforms the Wild Lions tag team with former partner, Andy Roberts. The aim of this reunion is to capture the coveted tag team gold.

They will be taking on the reigning tag team champions, the Kings of the North, who won the tag team tournament in July 2022 by defeating the Fair City Saints and Emersyn Jayne & Gene Munny in one night.

The highlight of this match will undoubtedly be Andy Roberts, who has undergone a noticeable change in attitude in the wrestling industry. His recent losses to Joe Hendry and failure to win the Y Division Championship may prove to be the tipping point for the Wildman in this high-stakes match.

Theo Doros, Deacon Matthews, & Scott Garland vs The Foundation of the Future (Zach Dynamite, Bruiser Brad Evans, & Ryan Riley)

The highly anticipated return of Foundation of the Future to Discovery Wrestling is finally here. With a proven track record of success in companies such as Fair City Wrestling and WrestleZone, the team has been a force to be reckoned with. However, their journey in Discovery Wrestling has not been without challenges, as they have faced difficulties with Theo Doros and Deacon Matthews since early 2022.

In an effort to turn the tide, Theo and Deacon have teamed up with none other than Scotty 2 Hotty of WWE fame. Known for his electrifying presence and high-energy performances, Scotty 2 Hotty is set to bring his party-starting skills to Discovery Wrestling and provide an assist to his fellow team members.

Fans are in for a treat as they witness Theo Doros and Deacon Matthews, joined by the legendary Scotty 2 Hotty, in action against the formidable Foundation of the Future, with their combined strength and experience. The stage is set for an intense and unforgettable night of wrestling entertainment.

Aspen Faith vs Caleb Valhalla

Back in November, during the Year Seven event, Caleb Valhalla defeated Griffin in a violent strap match. After months of interruptions and attacks, Griffin was unable to escape the inevitable, and Caleb Valhalla came out on top.

On the same card, Aspen Faith was unable to defeat Mark Haskins in a violent No DQ match. For months, Aspen had been getting into the head of Mark Haskins and even laid his hands on Mark’s wife, Vicky Haskins. However, the married duo managed to overcome Faith and settle the score.

Now, Caleb Valhalla and Aspen Faith meet face to face in what is sure to be an intense, hard-hitting match. These two have avoided the world title picture for a while now, but this match could have title ramifications in the future. We can expect a fierce and intense battle between two of the best in the business.

Rhio vs Emersyn Jayne

The O2 Academy is set to be lit up by a standout match between Rhio and Emersyn Jayne. Rhio, who has been putting on fantastic matches in Pro Wrestling Eve, Progress, and many other companies around the UK, is making her Disco debut in this highly anticipated match.

On the other side of the ring is Emersyn Jayne, a wrestler whose talents have always been recognised. She was named the SWN One to Watch in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and now she proves that the accolades were well-deserved as she ranks 35th in the PWI 150 and is the SWN Female Wrestler of the Year 2022. Emersyn lost the Women’s Title to Kasey in a triple threat match back in November 2021, and this match against Rhio may be important in getting her back into the title picture.

VIP Matches
VIP Ticket Holder Match – Tallon Jr vs Ryan Richards

Ryan Richards has been making waves in the wrestling world with his standout performances in the Discovery Wrestling pre-show matches. Since joining the Joe Hendry School of Wrestling, Ryan has shown a remarkable ability to improve and grow with each passing day. With his passion for the sport and unwavering commitment to his craft, Ryan has established himself as a rising star in the industry.

Soon, Ryan will share the VIP experience with Tallon Jr., who was most recently featured in the 2022 Disco Darby. Tallon Jr. made quite an impact at the event, as he was violently ejected from the match by an irate Griffin. Despite this setback, Tallon Jr. remains a formidable presence in the ring.

Together, Ryan and Tallon Jr. will no doubt make magic in the ring, and we can expect nothing but high-octane action when the bell rings.

VIP Ticket Holder Match – Judas Grey vs Ian Skinner

Discovery Wrestling is set to host a highly anticipated VIP match between Ian Skinner and Judas Grey. Ian Skinner has become a mainstay in the Discovery roster, consistently putting on the best matches of the night and building a portfolio of epic fights with some of the best in the business, including Chris Ridgeway, Aspen Faith, Mark Haskins, and many more.

In a recent appearance, Ian Skinner showed off a new attitude as he appeared in a six-man tag team match with the Foundation of the Future. Although he seems to not be aligned with them, it’s worth noting that he held onto his STF submission against Alex Webb after the bell rang. Will we see a harder edge to Skinner in this match?

Judas Grey, on the other hand, is a newcomer to Discovery Wrestling, having trained in the Joe Hendry School of Wrestling. He has shown noticeable improvement in each match he is in and was recently featured during Discovery Wrestling’s visit to Scotland Comic Con. With his potential and drive, Judas is looking to make a name for himself in Discovery Wrestling.

The Disco faithful can expect a fierce and intense match as these two talented wrestlers go head-to-head in the ring. Ian Skinner’s experience and Judas Grey’s potential make for an unpredictable and exciting match that is not to be missed.
