Johnny Gargano – Punisher Gear

This might be a biased choice as a Marvel fan but for me I’m a huge fan and appreciator of Johnny Gargano’s Marvel inspired NXT Takeover gear sets (which have included Star Lord, Thor, Wolverine, Iron Man, Captain America and a crossover set of Spider-Man and Venom).

If I had to choose a personal favourite it would likely be the Punisher inspired set from NXT Takeover War Games. The Punisher is one of my favourite marvel characters so it swayed me with that but also the way he transitioned his logo with the Punisher skull symbol.

The Fiend’s Debut Entrance

I’ll never forget the first time an entrance had me sitting in awe. The music, the lighting, the walk, pretty much everything about The Fiends entrance blew me away.

I’ve always been a fan of Bray Wyatt, and his entrance as it was, but debuting The Fiend (versus Finn Balor) was one of the best things I’ve ever seen.

Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker – WrestleMania 26 Promo Package

A good buildup can make a great match even better and that’s why I’ve chosen the promo package for Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker at WrestleMania 26 as a piece of wrestling art, specifically the ‘running up that hill’ package.

My reason for this is due to the music, the story it tells in showing how much Michaels needed this match just blows my mind every time I see it.

Brock Lesnar Breaking The Undertaker’s WrestleMania Streak

A match that I’ll never forget will be Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker at WrestleMania 30, not specifically for the match itself but the moment that every wrestling fan will never forget.

Once Brock broke the streak it was almost as if the whole wrestling world just froze, fans at the stadium, fans at home, were all in complete shock and disbelief at the fact something that seemed impossible to do had been done.

Rey Mysterio’s attire

This is going back to a young memory of the first wrestler I saw and said “oh my god he looks so cool!” and that is the legendary Rey Mysterio.

It might’ve been the mask, it might’ve been the cool entrance where he popped up from the stage or it might’ve been his incredible in ring ability. But for this article I’d like to give his ensemble a shout out, from his mask to his trousers/tights, everything had such a slick look to it and he was a standout to me for this alone.

One of my personal favourite attires from first watching wrestling was from the first ‘mania I watched which was 20 and when Rey came out in the Flash inspired look, I truly believed he was an in ring superhero.
