SETH ROLLINS CASH IN AT WRESTLEMANIA
What a moment this was and a complete and genuine surprise, the way the WWE was able to turn a match with supposedly no favourable outcome from the fan base into one of the best moments in WrestleMania history is surreal and a moment I love re-watching.
MJF VS CM PUNK
Where do I even start, arguably the best feud in recent wrestling. The intensity these two brought on their battles on the mic never left anyone bored and the storytelling from every match eventually leading to the dog collar match was *chefs kiss*. It was a feud that had high expectations and blew all those expectations away with both men providing such great moments throughout the feud. I mean that MJF promo about meeting Punk as a kid was a genuinely heart breaking promo for him only to rip away all the sympathy minutes later.
THE FOUNDATION OF THE FUTURE
These three boys have perfected the faction game. They have brought all three of their different personalities and have gelled together so well, they all have their unique look but it’s obvious they are teammates at the same time and all their offence flows so nicely together. And I mean their music SLAPS.
WILL OSPREAY ‘HIDDEN BLADE’
I mean the move looks truly devastating, like you are watching that thinking yeah I wouldn’t be able to get up after that. It is possibly the most believable finisher of all time and he can hit it out of absolutely nowhere. What’s not to love?
THREE STAGES OF HELL: ADAM COLE VS JOHNNY GARGANO
This match sums up the OG black and gold NXT for me. Two of the best wrestlers in the world absolutely going for it. It made the NXT title feel so prestigious when you see the lengths these men were going to win/retain it. Both men showed off some of the best wrestling in the world in this match and it was the perfect ending to this feud. I mean when that cage lowers down I still get goose bumps to this day.
“Genuinely heart breaking promo”s, “Music that SLAPS” and a “Devastating” finisher. Another great Top 5. Thank you Ronan.
