We are just 3 days away from FPWAโ€™s show Truth or Dare at the Truth nightclub in Leven on Thursday September 7th.

This is FPWAโ€™s 1 year anniversary show and since the doors opened, it has produced some of the next best generation of talent such as Daisy Jenkins, Tommy Kartel, Frank Gallo and Talon Jr.

FPWA always does great shows with a fully licensed bar, a tuck shop and even a raffle! These shows always sells out and this one will sell out too, so Iโ€™d grab some tickets while you can as this is a show you do not want to miss.

Now this is a one-of-a-kind show that has never been done anywhere before in the UK and an all time first for FPWA, where the matches will be decided ON THE NIGHT with the spin of a wheel!

I love mystery shows like this in wrestling and there has been similar types of wrestling shows in the past in the Scottish wrestling scene with Discovery Wrestlingโ€™s ‘All About The Raffle’ show and GPWA ‘Night At The Asylum Mystery Show’ that I saw a year or two before the Covid/lockdown period began.

The beauty of the whole show is, nothing, and I mean nothing has been announced at all in terms of matches and opponents since the show was first advertised.

Now I know what you are all thinking it does sound very reminiscent of WCW Halloween Havoc (1992) called โ€œspin the wheel, make the deal.โ€

But this is Truth or Dare and there is guaranteed to be plenty of surprises and twists along the way.

THE AIM OF THE GAME

How I think this will work is, the first entrant will come out and then they will face their mystery opponent whoever they, he or she may be. Our MC for the evening, Simon Cassidy, will spin the wheel and it will either be a TRUTH or DARE. IF it lands on TRUTH โ€“ it will be a normal wrestling match.

However, if it lands on a DARE, then the match in question will have a very special stipulation added to it and this could literally be anything and the whole landscape of FPWA could change.

As I donโ€™t know the full card, I canโ€™t go into too much detail, the opponents could be literally anyone from any wrestling promotion in the UK from GPWA to Iron Girders to Fair City Wrestling or maybe from New Wave Academy, and we could have some new debuts, some returns and who knows maybe even some new faces making their debuts for the very first time. Some may even have to do multiple matches.

Already confirmed to appear: Zachary Swift, Johnny Lyons, The Meat Factory (John Kerr and Craig Berry), Jason Reed, Rampage Brown, The Par (Robbie Balfour and Ross Hunter), Daisy Jenkins, Hunter Samson, Frank Gallo, James Ellis and the โ€œHardest Man in Fifeโ€ Tommy Kartel will put his reputation on the line in a Fatal 5ife Way, and Andy Roberts will put his four-year UEWA title on the line, but against who?!

THE TRUTH OR DARE CARD

Now, normally, what I would do here is that I would go into the whole detail about who is fighting who in terms of match graphics when the matches get announced, HOWEVER, as this is a mystery show and as we donโ€™t know the opponents, I am going to run through what I think could potentially happen on the night and this is just me speculating.

  • The Tag Team Division

Already advertised are FPWAโ€™s The Meat Wagon (John Kerr and Craig Berry), and The Par (Robbie Balfour and Ross Hunter). Match wise, these two teams could face each other or for example Iron Girders’ Drew Mercury and Gabriel Saul, Arcade Violence (Jake Lawless and Brody Turnbull) or Casino Brutale (Mikey Devine and Rabu Romero) who have faced FPWA roster members during FPWA vs Iron Girders before, could pop in.

Who knows, maybe even the SheWolves (Molly Spartan and Kasey Owens). Maybe even a brand-new tag team created from various roster members from either promotion?

  • FPWA Womanโ€™s Division

The FPWA Womanโ€™s division is on fire right now and we have seen the likes of Dani Luna, Molly Spartan, Moxie Malone, Ashley Vega, Harmony Sky, and Daisy Jenkins ( who is the only woman announced for Truth or Dare so far) appear in an FPWA ring.

Names such as Hera, Molly Spartan, Kasey Owens, Anastasia, Ellie Armstrong, Angel Hayze, Rubi Roberts, Emily Hayden, and maybe even Nicole Jasmine have been thrown into the mix as to who I think could potentially appear โ€“ who knows maybe even one of these names could be in the Fatal 5ife Way.

  • The Fatal 5ife Way

Now we have โ€œThe Hardest Man in Fifeโ€ Tommy Kartel, who is also a 3x esteemed winner, defending his status alongside Hunter Samson who won his shot to be in the Fatal 5ife Way in a Qualifying Battle Royal at the last FPWA Student Showcase. We donโ€™t know who else is in this match.

Could it be James Ellis? Lexi Kimbo? Brent Carter? Johnny Reeves? Redfield? Perhaps maybe FCWโ€™s Tom Atlas or maybe โ€œKickassโ€ Ian Skinner.

Thereโ€™s only one way to find outโ€ฆ

  • The Main Event โ€“ Andy Roberts vs ????? for the UEWA Championship

Andy Roberts has been the UEWA champion for four years now since 2019 with a grand total of 1,507 days and counting and has over the years faced a grand total of 16 competitors, the last competitor being Kreiger.

We donโ€™t know who Andy will be facing yet, could NXTUK star Rampage Brown, who is confirmed to appear, be his next potential challenger or maybe even the โ€œStaunch Superstarโ€ Jason Reed could go for gold?

The match itself could be anything from one on one singles action to a Fatal 5ive Way! The
possibilities are endless. Whoever steps into the ring with Andy Roberts needs to show Andy how and why they are worthy enough to attempt to take the UEWA title from Andyโ€™s hands.

If you want to see who is going to be walking through the curtain and walking away victorious on the night, then click the link below before this sells out as there are only 11 tickets left!
