Renowned comedian, presenter, devoted father, and loving husband, Billy Kirkwood, is set to make a triumphant return to the stage with his high-energy, wildly entertaining show, “Wild Thing.” After a recent surgery almost put the brakes on his vibrant career, Billy is back and more determined than ever to spread his unique brand of frantic positivity and relentless fun.

Selling out at this years Glasgow Comedy festival, “Wild Thing” is a rollercoaster of humor, ADHD and high spirits, blending Billy’s infectious optimism with his signature, no-holds-barred comedic style. The show promises to be a whirlwind of laughter and unfiltered hilarity, celebrating the beauty of attacking life with an unyielding positive attitude and making the most out of every moment.

Billy Kirkwood, a staple in the comedy scene and a beloved voice on the radio, faced a daunting challenge with his recent surgery.

“I’ve always been an all gun blazing kind of guy, so the idea of slowing down in any way has always been a scary one, but the worst thing happened we found a lump in my neck, that then very suddenly got a lot worse and went straight from a Doctor’s waiting room to an Operation table very fast”

However, true to his nature, he tackled this obstacle with the same fervour and positivity that he brings to his performances.

“The support from my family, friends, everyone and fans has been overwhelming, and I can’t wait to get back out there and share my passion for comedy and life with everyone. Since getting the all clear I simply haven’t stopped smiling”

Now, fully recovered, Billy is ready to light up the stage once again, proving that nothing can keep him from doing what he loves most – making people laugh.

“Over the last year I’ve been putting myself out there a lot more, more shows, radio and creative works talking more openly about my life long ADHD, more what I think and feel has made so many amazing connections and made me listen to what do what I want to share with an audience onstage and so Wild thing is unfiltered, silly nonsense with only one goal giving crowds a fun heart beating comedy experience at the fringe. For the first time I don’t care what other comics doing, what’s gone down before….I ain’t even looking in the rear view mirror it’s all guns blazing”
