MIKEY DEVINE

‘Horsepower’ Mikey Devine pips his tag team partner to number six. The team had a busy 2024 including a Scottish wrestling dream bout against The Foundation of the Future at Fair City Wrestling in January, their trips to Dundee and Perth would continue with a marquee match against the FCW Tag Team Champions, DE, at ‘ArdlerMania: Part Deux’ in the companies first ever tables match.

The highlight of the year was Devine winning the IGPW King of the Fling Championship on behalf of Casino Brutale at ACME Comic Con after a couple close calls, making it to the final two in June before Robbie Cardwell managed to eliminate him, he almost nabbed the ACME Comic Con Interpromotional Championship from Moxie Malone in September but the intervention from Charlie Vyce put a stopper to it.

Along with CPW Tag Team Championship victory, the team picked up wins over The Handsome Man’s Club, The Govan Team, and The Freshnas, before losing the titles to aforementioned Govan Team at ‘Govanniversary 3’. Devine and RABU would head to VALOR to face Legends Never Die, their time in VALOR continued heading to Denmark to defeat The Gulyas Bros.

The team won four Tag Team of the Month monthly poll awards including a three month streak from August to October.

Elsewhere, matches with Reece & Rogan at Wrestling In Newcastle, and a win over Yorkshire Gold at Pinfall marked an incredible year for Mikey Devine.
