It’s 2025 and time to have a look at some tag teams that are looking to make an impact this year. As I have plans to actually do a 25 For 25 list of individuals to keep track of over the next 12 months this year, we are going back to picking out 10 teams (plus a few honourable mentions) that have yet to hold tag team championship gold as a team.
Last year’s list went on to prelude 8 out of the 12 teams winning titles throughout 2024, which is a pretty good conversion rate.
This list is in no particular order.

10. Legends Never Die
Fulton King & Sami Sparx
Kicking off the list with a big one, Fulton King and Sami Sparx are champions waiting to happen.
The chaotic anarchy that they cause has expanded in 2024 taking on all comers in VALOR, showing some Punk Tactics in Attitude Pro Wrestling and Fair City Wrestling, along with cementing a place in Bleeding Gums Wrestling.
From balcony dives to chucking bodies around, Legends Never Die are out for cause havoc anywhere they go.

9. Eastern Bloc
Jan Islav & Krobar
Proud, passionate, patriotic, and not afraid to declare it. Jan Islav with a revitalised Krobar have been a force to be reckoned with at VALOR in 2024.
Krobar has been plagued with injury but has been by Jan’s side in his solo championship endeavours which has seen their message resonate with the VALOR crowd. A return to action with Jan in 2025 creates a quite the prospect.

8. The New Age Kliq
Chris Renfrew, Dru Marshall, & Seb Silvers
2024 saw the return of The New Age Kliq, Chris Renfrew built a new team including Dru Marshall and, the shocking revelation of VALOR co-owner, Seb Silvers.
Waging war with Lou King Sharp over the course of the year, they have been mercilus. The tag team division in VALOR has been growing at a rapid rate with The New Age Kliq out to cause maximum disruption.

7. Not Safe For Mums
Patryk Peterski & Kairn Douglas
Getting their start in Fair City Wrestling, the tail end for 2024 saw Douglas and Peterski broaden their horizons at Bleeding Gums Wrestling, a trip to Europe, and an upcoming debut at VALOR which has plenty of eyes on this duo.
It was close but no cigar earlier in 2024 when it looked like they became champions in Fair City Wrestling but shenanigans curtailed the celebrations. NSFM could be sloshing to gold soon enough.

6. Tall ‘N’ Tiny
Kev.i.n, James Diaz, & Astrid Day
A new team on the block that has captured the love of the Iron Girders Pro Wrestling audience. It’s your classic big man-little man dynamic for Diaz and Kev but their charisma garners attention.
A fun loving trio that I’m looking forward to seeing pop up all over Scotland this year with a recent appearance at Community Pro Wrestling towards the latter half of last year saw the trio testing the waters outside of the Gallowgate.

5. Victory Incorporated
Ryan Richards & Lee MacRae
Victory could very well be achieved in the weeks following this article going live. Richards and MacRae have had mixed fortunes in Insane Championship Wrestling but they are a vicious team that are just the one win away when they challenge Arcade Violence at ‘The 13th Annual Square Go!’ event on February 9th.
Neither are short of confidence as the two Highland lads have become a formidable unit.

4. Meat Factory
Craig Berry & John Kerr
Thee big strapping duo from PWR PRO, they’ve been slapping meat and throwing chops around the country.
Berry and Kerr were fingertips away from becoming the inaugural PWR PRO Tag Team Champions with The Par still firmly in their sights.

3. The Good Times
Robb Stow & Monstrum
A team that has come close to reaching their championship goal, narrowly missing out on the Discovery Wrestling Tag Team Championships in 2024. A new alliance with Ryan Richards bodes interesting possibilities for the future in the capital.
It may only be a matter of time before this team holds gold, cementing their place as number one contenders when Discovery headed to Germany this past November.

2. Planet A
Ellie Armstrong & Martin MacAlistair
Over at Community Pro Wrestling the Vegan agenda is in full force with Ellie Armstrong and Martin MacAlistair forcing their beliefs and ways to save the planet, which hasn’t made them friends but did gain them a CPW Women’s Championship in 2024 for Armstrong.
The pollution of the Govan air has had an effect on the usually happy-go-lucky MacAlistair and Armstrong, we’ll see if there are any more side effects during the next 12 months.

1. Vanity
Ronan King & Judas Grey
Now, technically Judas Grey and Ronan King have held the WrestleZone Tag Team Championships as a trio along with Connor Molloy as The Influence for one night. However, there was no official confirmation of Judas Grey being tag team champion so there’s that out of the way.
One of the most fluid tag teams in Scotland right now, travelling around the UK to gain knowledge and hone their skills.
We’ve seen them part of The Handsome Man’s Club in 2024, with 2025 looking to be the year of Vanity.
As you can see variety is the name of the game in 2025, a lot of teams beginning to flourish and show something that makes them stand out from the pack. We also saw some potential tag teams forming and evolving that looks to make this year have an interesting landscape for any and all promotions’ tag team scenes.
Five Honourable Mentions:
- Cheeki Breeki (Patryk Peterski & Stan The Slav)
A new team recently formed in the latter half of 2024, the vodka loving Slavic duo have quickly become fan favourites in Fair City Wrestling. - The Absolute (Jack Hunt & Grieg Avernus)
PWR PRO are producing some menacing beefy tag teams with The Absolute being one that I have got my eye on. - Red Gate (SAMUEL & Valek)
A troupe that have been evolving in Fair City Wrestling over the years with SAMUEL and Valek becoming a cohesive tandem along with Eden watching on. - God’s Country (Frank of the Cross, Tim Strange, & Stone Malone)
The collective and self appointed higher power of VALOR with Sister Veronica, God’s Country have exclusively been holding court in the promotion, so time is yet to be seen whether they mosey elsewhere to spread the good word. - The Profits of Doom (Grum & Holden)
Two big scary dudes that have disappeared over the last few months, but they are always up for hire so who knows when we’ll see Grum and Holden ragdolling victims soon. - Skinner & Vyce/Vyce & Skinner (Ian Skinner & Charlie Vyce)
They’re due to reunite over the border, so let’s all manifest a return on this side and maybe some belts eh.
