How did you get involved with professional wrestling and start with WrestleZone?
Had the chance to attend regular training with the original incarnation of WrestleZone in Kirkcaldy at the end of 2007. It was no brainer for me and something I had to try while I was still physically able to do so. I already had a friendship with someone involved and that opened the door for me to attempt this wrasslin’ thing!
Aberdeen Anarchy is on the horizon, how are you feeling on the run up to WrestleZone’s biggest show of the year?
Excited but fairly relaxed. Certainly an element of nervousness, although having competed in the Ballroom now two years in a row, I’m very much aware of what to expect.
For the third year in a row the Aberdeen Anarchy event is being held in the Beach Ballroom, previous years have seen over 1000 fans attend the show. Is there an added pressure preforming in front of so many people?
For me, if you have 20 through the door or 1000 plus, they all did one thing – pay money to see a show. The amount of people in the building doesn’t change that. Every show you have a duty to give people just that, a show. It’s just so much more exciting doing it in front a large crowd!
WrestleZone always pull out all the stops when it comes to special guests galore for Aberdeen Anarchy, this year sees former WWE stars Hardcore Holly, Chris Masters and D-Von Dudley come to the Beach Ballroom. Who would you like see come to the Granite City in the future?
Too many to mention. From a personal level, I’d actually like to see more WZ Academy Students appear at the Ballroom in future. That’s motivation right there.
And finally, what would be your dream match at Aberdeen Anarchy?
