WrestleZone have asked the fans to give them their feedback about a possible new championship in WrestleZone to go along with the Undisputed and Tag Team Championships currently fought for.
There was a third championship a few years ago in WrestleZone called the No-Limits Championship, which was unified with the WrestleZone Heavyweight Championship on 26/02/11 to become the Undisputed WrestleZone Championship that is held by Scotty Swift today.
Personally, I’d love to see a third Championship added to WrestleZone, with so many young guys on the roster that may not be ready to carry the company but have certainly earned enough to hold gold, it only makes sense to add another prize to aim towards. In the case of having a Champion on shows it would also be beneficial, like when Jack Jester and Joe Coffey won the Undisputed Championship you wouldn’t see them appear at the smaller venues, like Nairn or Huntly for example. At the time it gave special focus on the Tag Team division, but with a second singles Championship you’d have a defence or a Champion on shows more often than not.
Here are the Top 5 name ideas that I saw in the comments:
5. Grampian Championship – Suggested by: Ross Foreman
4. Vision Championship – Suggested by: Andrew Reid
3. North East Division Championship – Suggested by: Chris John Third
2. Premier Championship – Suggested by: Andrew Reid
1. Granite City Championship – Suggested by: Stuart Newlands
